This paper mainly studies the influence of landscape painting in the Southern Song Dynasty on the construction of private gardens in the south of the Yangtze River in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.Although landscape painting and classical garden are two important parts of Chinese traditional culture,they influence and develop each other in the process of historical development.Especially in the Southern Song Dynasty,Song Dynasty lived in Lin'an.Influenced by the social literati's ethos,the landscape painting of Southern Song Dynasty has created a new chapter in the history of Chinese landscape painting,and also has a profound impact on the construction of Chinese classical gardens.In the Ming and Qing Dynasties,it became a trend for painters to participate in gardening activities,which made the ideology of landscape painting penetrate into the garden construction.The unique "corner" composition and artistic conception of the Southern Song landscape painting played an important role in promoting the formation of the landscape garden image of the full integration of nature and human settlements in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.The research content of this article is mainly based on the landscape paintings of the Southern Song Dynasty,and the private gardens in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the south of the Yangtze River as the starting point,making full use of the commonality between the landscape paintings and the classical gardens,and exploring the ideology,composition forms and pictures contained in the landscape paintings of the Southern Song Dynasty.The influence of space level and atmosphere on theChinese classical gardens,especially the impact of the “ one punch on the mountain,one spoon on the water” and “wondering from the sky” in the private gardens of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in Jiangnan area;at the same time,it also makes the garden in the mountains.The sequence positions of stones,water bodies,plants,and buildings form a deep,tortuous,open and clear spatial artistic conception through the intertwining of reality,concealment,and movement.From the analysis of the influence of the landscape paintings of the Southern Song Dynasty on the private gardens in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the four landscape landscapes and the Master of the Nets were used as examples to further explain.The layout of the artistic conception of the space and the conclusion that the distribution relationship of each element forms a quiet,empty,or broad space atmosphere.
