Urban Brownfield Planning And Design Based On Spatial Syntax Theory

The adjustment of industrial structure and the development of transformation and the rapid development of urbanization have provided the conditions for the economic,social,and cultural development of the city,but they have also brought about environmental problems,such as the leftover of industrial waste,idle land,and contaminated land.These urban Brownfield urgently need to use ecological restoration methods to restore the self-regulatory functions of urban ecosystems.They are also the core concepts of the current “urban double rehabilitation” and an important symbol of urban transformation and development.However,space syntax can solve the problem of the relationship between space organization and human society.it has become an effective method for rational quantitative analysis of space structure and urban planning.Therefore,this study uses the urban Brownfield in the Tie xi old industrial area of Shenyang as a carrier to analyze the planning and design of the Brownfield in the old industrial area of Tie xi using space syntax theory and analysis methods,analyze the spatial relationship between various types of land use in the old industrial area and the entire old industrial area,which is of great significance for the re-use of the current development,transformation,and idleness of old industrial districts.From the research background of urban Brownfield,the purpose and significance of domestic and foreign research,and the analysis of spatial syntactic and spatial cognition,spatial syntactic theory and spatial segmentation and analysis methods,this paper analyzes the integration of Brownfield in the Tie xi old industrial area,and evaluates the land for residential use,public management,land for public service,land for road traffic construction,and land for commercial service.This paper concludes that the southwestern and northwestern parts of the Tie xi old industrial area must continue to be improved,the link between residential land and other land types needs to be strengthened,the service function of public service land is not fully reflected,the commercial street system needs to continue to improve;and take park landscape planning and design as an example to analyze and test.The analysis of urban Brownfield planning and design based on space syntax theory can provide guidance for planning and design and achieve the goal of optimizing the plan.The results of this paper can intuitively express the problems and advantages existing in the spatial structure of each land use,rationally analyze the development relationship between the spatial structures of the land use,and thus find out the optimal development direction of the planning and design of the old industrial zone.
