Energy issues and environmental issues are the two major challenges facing mankind in the 21st century.The automotive industry is in urgent need of transformation,and electric vehicles are emerging.Battery management,motor control,and vehicle management are the core control systems.Although the call for electric vehicle research is high,the progress of new electric cars in recent years has been very slow;power integration is the main factor hindering its development;Real-time monitoring of parameters such as battery power is particularly important.The battery control unit is the core controller of the battery system,which plays an important role in battery charging,discharging and life estimation,and its upgrading research is of great significance.At present,the research on battery management in various regions mainly focuses on:data collection,balance management,thermal management,and related technologies of the central processing unit;the technology focuses on the upgrading and transformation of the core algorithms of each part and the physical structure.As for the performance evaluation method of the battery management system,the BMS is used as a whole.One is to connect the battery pack,and after the system is running,the data of the battery measurement unit is developed into a visual interface;the other is to do pure software simulations for different batteries.The first method contains praiseworthy points but has some disadvantages:(1)BMS is required to have integrity;(2)A battery pack is required for BMS performance evaluation.Although other vehicle body environments can be simulated,the four mentioned above the test is indispensable,which makes the test more complicated;(3)Depending on the fuel of the battery,the BMS structure and test plan are very different,resulting in diverse test standards and large evaluation conditions;(4)If the battery pack fails,It is difficult to determine which unit fails in the first place.Disadvantages of the second method:(1)Poor portability;(2)Can not simulate all the running conditions of the battery management system during real driving.Under the premise of fully analyzing all the functions of the battery management system,the subject applies the automatic test technology and virtual instrument technology to design the relay matrix and mount each signal source,power supply,measurement module,and the unit module under test in response to the above problems..Design an automated test program with a good human-computer interaction interface,and finally build an automated test platform that can evaluate the battery control unit.The test shows that the automatic test platform solves the problem of inconsistency of the test system caused by the different types and structures of Battery Control Unit due to different batteries.The battery control unit is tested separately instead of the entire management system.Reduce the test steps and development time without losing the accuracy of the battery control unit performance evaluation.The signal source,power supply and test instrument can be partially separated according to requirements,and the impact of replacing a certain module on the test platform is minimized The software controls the relay matrix to freely configure test items and test sequences,reducing the difficulty of building an automated test platform,saving production materials,and improving test efficiency.
