At present, the global energy crisis and environmental pollution problems are getting more serious, and traditional fuel cars will aggravate air pollution and consume a lot of oil resources, this problem has gradually attracted widespread international attention.Countries around the world now pay more and more attention to the development of pure electric vehicles that do not rely on petroleum resources and do not have any exhaust pollution. The most critical component in the development and manufacture of electric vehicles is the Battery Management System(BMS).The BMS can monitor and manage the state of the battery pack of electric vehicles. In the safe operation of electric vehicles, battery charging and discharging, and energy distribution Aspect plays a vital role. However, the quality of BMS on the market is uneven, which leads to instability in its performance, which affects the overall operation safety of electric vehicles. With the industrialization of the battery management system, comprehensive performance testing before the product is put on the market is an important means to ensure its reliability. Therefore,it is imperative to develop a test system that can comprehensively test the performance of the battery management system. This article mainly studies the test system of the battery management system for electric vehicles, including the formulation of test plans, hardware design of the test system, software design of the test system, and test verification.Firstly, based on a certain integrated BMS,a reasonable and comprehensive testing program was developed.Thirdly, the hardware design of the test system is mainly composed of a test motherboard and two analog battery boards. The communication between the board and the upper computer is realized through the CAN bus. This time, the latest 32-bit automotive general-purpose microcontroller S32K148 introduced by NXP in 2017 is used as the core of the hardware system. Then the software design of the test system is mainly divided into embedded software design and host computer design. The embedded software part is responsible for writing and packaging the corresponding test instructions according to the formulated detection scheme, executing the instructions and uploading the test data to the host computer, and the host computer is responsible for calling the relevant instructions according to the specific test requirements, and after the instruction execution is completed, the host computer The machine checks and verifies the test data with the test standards formulated in advance, and finally determines whether the test item is qualified. The universality of this test system is that the processing and decision-making power of each test data is handed over to the host computer.Even if the project requirements change in the future, only the configuration of the host computer needs to be changed, and the fully supported hardware part is only responsible for The software part that executes the test instructions according to the configuration of the host computer does not need to be modified. Finally, through joint debugging with BMS to verify the functional integrity and test data accuracy of the entire test system,a set of battery management system samples was used as the test object, and its comprehensive performance was tested using the test system. The battery management system test system for electric vehicles can collect relevant data such as voltage, temperature, current, various types of wake-up,and energy of the power battery system, and display the status information and fault detection results of the battery system through the host computer interface. The battery management system is fully tested before leaving the factory, and the test data is further analyzed. The shortcomings of the battery management system are pointed out and corresponding improvement measures are proposed.
