With the improvement of social living standards, the heating system has developed rapidly. While the traditional central heating system meets the current social needs,it has gradually exposed many drawbacks, such as large energy consumption in heating transmission and distribution, unbalanced heating,etc.problem.In order to solve these problems, the distributed variable-frequency pump heating transmission and distribution system came into being. And it be discussed by more and more expert and scholars. The research object of this paper is the secondary grid heating. In order to explore the energy conservation of distributed variable frequency pump heating transmission and distribution system, comparative analysis and case calculation are adopt. This paper first compares the design concepts of the traditional central heating system and the distributed variable frequency pump heating transmission and distribution system, and detail the differences between the two design steps.Secondly, analyzes the influence of frequency speed regulation technology, energy conversion in throttling process and location of zero pressure handicap on energy consumption of distributed variable frequency pump heating transmission and distribution system. And summarizes the energy-saving factors of it.Finally, carry out engineering case transformation.Based on the case energy consumption, the energy conversion of throttling process was quantified. And it can be concluded the actual energy consumption of the traditional central heating system. So it can obtain the comparison of energy consumption with distributed variable frequency pump heating transmission and distribution system.Next is calculate the operating input and operating energy consumption of the two heating transmission and distribution systems, and analyze the operating cost-saving rate and electricity-saving rate of the distributed variable-frequency pump heating transmission so obtain its economic and environmental benefits.Through research,it is concluded that when the traditional central heating transmission and distribution system adopts throttling components to adjust the flow, there is a process of conversion from pressure energy to thermal energy, and the invalid power consumption can be reused by the heating transmission and distribution system,so the throttling loss cannot be collectively referred to as ineffective energy consumption. In the heating project,it is not comprehensive to take the benefit of reducing the total power consumption of water pumps to represent the benefit of the distributed variable frequency pump heating transmission and distribution system.Such an approach will undoubtedly over-evaluate the advantages of the distributed variable frequency pump heating transmission and distribution system.Compared with the operation input and energy consumption of traditional central heating transmission and distribution system after considering throttling energy conversion, the use of distributed variable frequency pump heating transmission and distribution system can effectively reduce operating energy consumption.Running a heating period, the distributed variable-frequency pump heating transmission and distribution system has an operating cost saving rate of 0.79%,with the gross electricity saving rate of 27.54%and the net electricity saving rate is 23.23%.According to the engineering case data that the heating area is 1.9379 million square meters which can reduce the operating cost per unit area by RMB 0.15 and lower sulfur dioxide by 0.25t and reduce smoke and dust emissions by 108,700 m~3.
