Research On Post Occupancy Evaluation Of The Commemorative Landscape Places Bearing The Motif Of Red Culture In The Context Of Red Tourism

In the last few years,red tourism,as a special activity pertaining to excursion and trip experience,has gained a mushroom growth.Red tourism,which is endowed with unmatched tourism form and distinctly politics-oriented culture,has become a brighten dot in the tourism market.Not only is the martyr cemetery one of the primitive types concerning commemorative landscape,but also one of the vital material carriers with regard to red tourism,developing red tourism resources is of great significance to the inheritance of red culture,the upholding of the traditional spirit concerning red revolution,and the consolidation of the patriotism education.According to incomplete statistics,in modern times,about 20 million heroic martyrs have been at the sacrifice of their own lives for the consummation of national independence and people's liberation,for the achievement of national prosperity and people's well-being.September 30,2019 was the sixth commemorative day of martyrs in China,along with the day that commemorates the triumph of the anti-Japanese war on September 3rd,it goes without saying that the above statutory days are conducive to bridling and curbing citizens' ideologies which are prone to alienation and decadence.Not only do a wealth of martyr cemeteries compiled in the roll of cemeteries and graveyards have an impact on inheriting the red culture tellingly all over the country,but also its function with regard to patriotism education contributes to promoting the national cohesion and centripetal force.Nevertheless,on account of the comparatively behindhand and lagging research on commemorative landscape in China,the research about martyr cemeteries based onred culture and red tourism resources is meagre severely,the built environment of memorial landscape places that bear the motif of red culture such as martyr cemeteries have been far from the achievement of the anticipated effects,which affect the satisfaction of visitors to the use of the martyr cemeteries.This dissertation focuses on the overall use experience of travelers,wielding post occupancy evaluation(POE)to assess the memorial landscape places scientifically that are endowed with the theme of red culture in the context of red tourism.Based on the relevant theories of commemorative landscape,red tourism and post occupancy evaluation(POE)and so on,this thesis establishes the post occupancy evaluation model by taking advantage of the analytic hierarchy of process put forward by Saaty,who is an operational research expert in the United States,besides Delphi Method.The methods of questionnaire survey,literature research,comportment observation,behavioral mapping and so on are also wielded,the paper embarks on the study of the post occupancy situation of the martyr cemetery in Chengdu,which is the capital of Szechuan Province in the southwest of China and home to the giant panda,from both qualitative and quantitative aspects,and use statistical software such as IBM SPSS STATISTICS,Excel and so on to process the original data,visualizing the outcome.The degree of satisfaction with regard to the use of martyr cemeteries is scored by taking advantage of Likert scale,this dissertation generalizes and summarizes the overall use of visitors in Chengdu martyr cemetery and the staple merits and shortcomings,the following recognition and achievement can draw an ultimate conclusion:Firstly,based on the existing national standards of tourism industry such as classification,investigation,and evaluation of tourism resources,besides the retrieval and reading of relevant literature,this dissertation establishes three criteria layers of landscape aesthetics,cultural background and operation management,and eight sub criteria layers,by taking advantage of the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and expert consultation method,pertaining to integrity,scale and abundance,ornament art value,recreational use value,historical value,cultural value,garden affair management,development and utilization.Based on 28 evaluation factors such as theinheritance and development of red culture and the abundance of indigenous plants,the post occupancy evaluation model of memorial landscape is constructed,and the weight value of each evaluation index are calculated respectively.The results with regard to importance ranking manifest that cultural background(0.4932)>landscape aesthetics(0.3682)> operation management(0.1386),cultural value(0.3699)>recreational use value(0.1798)> historical value(0.1233)> development and utilization(0.0924)> ornament art value(0.0779)> integrity(0.0771)> garden affair management(0.0462)>scale and abundance(0.0334).Secondly,the empirical study of the memorial landscape places that bear the motif of red culture is carried out by taking advantage of martyr cemetery POE model,the degree of satisfaction with regard to the use of martyr cemeteries is scored by taking advantage of Likert scale.The ultimate results indicate the weighted result is3.54 points,and the grade is ?.So,it is needless to say that visitors are content with the use of martyr cemeteries in Chengdu.Yet,there exist issues in plant conservation,the seasonal color of plants,facility maintenance,the color of buildings and structures,the abundance of indigenous plants,popularity of revolutionary heroes and events,texture,tourism marketing activities,red culture publicity and interpretation,especially plant conservation,the seasonal color of plants,facility maintenance,the color of buildings and structures,the abundance of indigenous plants.So,it goes without saying that the above-mentioned phenomenon manifests the Chengdu martyr cemetery needs enhancing urgently.Thirdly,in the light of the above-mentioned issues reflected by evaluation results from both qualitative and quantitative aspects,this dissertation probes into the quality improvement strategies concerning Chengdu martyr cemetery,bringing forth proposals,and proceeds from landscape aesthetics,cultural background and operation management.This paper discusses a chunk of countermeasures in terms of plant conservation,the seasonal color of plants,the abundance of indigenous plants and so on that visitors feel it worse so that a good red tourism destination image of martyr cemeteries can be established.To sum up,this dissertation focuses on the overall use of visitors,targeting at evaluating the satisfaction of memorial landscape places bearing the motif of red culture in the context of red tourism,together with filling in the theoretical paradigmresearch of the post occupancy evaluation concerning commemorative landscape places based on red culture and red tourism resources so as to give impetus to the theoretical expansion and application research of post occupancy evaluation in landscape architecture,we can,accordingly,expand and extend the three backbone research realms of it,that is,the theoretical research of landscape,environment and recreation,namely the cardinal study of recreation pertaining to trips and diversions.
