Memristor is a new type of passive electronic device discovered in recent years.It is considered as the fourth basic circuit element besides resistor,inductance and capacitance.It is a two-terminal passive electronic device used to describe the relationship between magnetic flux and charge.Memristor by virtue of its own unique circuit characteristics,but also the advantages of simple structure,low power consumption,quickly get the favor of researchers,once triggered a global research upsurge.This paper puts forward the circuit design and application of digital potentiometer and rectangular wave signal generator based on memristor,and compares the advantages and disadvantages of traditional rectangular wave signal generator and new rectangular wave signal generator based on memristor.The specific work carried out is as follows:The first chapter is the introduction to introduce the research background of memristor,the discovery of memristor theory to the real thing,as well as the development process of memristor at home and abroad,summarizes the circuit characteristics of memristor and its application prospects.The research significance of memristor is expounded.The second chapter is the model and simulation of memristor,introduces several classical mathematical models of memristor,Simulink simulation of the model of memristor,analyzes what external factors affect the variation of memristor's resistance value.The third chapter is a new digital potentiometer based on memristor.By analyzing the different pulse signals applied to both ends of memristor,a simple digital potentiometer circuit based on memristor is designed.The new potentiometer perfectly verifies the memory characteristics of memristor,and lays a good foundation for the subsequent research.In chapter four,a square wave generator based on memristor is designed according to the proposed programmable memristor circuit.In chapter five,according to the special circuit characteristics of memristor devices,a new digital potentiometer and rectangular wave signal generator circuit based on memristor is proposed,and the circuit is applied to Buck circuit,Boost circuit and other analog circuits.In this paper,all the circuits studied and proposed are simulated by Simulink,andthe advantages and disadvantages of the new circuit based on memristor and the traditional circuit are found out by comparing the experimental results,which opens up a new direction for circuit integration in the future.
