Fermented feed is feedstuff which can be digested,absorbed easier and nonhazardous.Microorganism through its own metabolic activity to decompose and transform the antinutritional factors from Plant material,Animal material and mineral matter,which is under the condition of artificial control.Neurospora crassa with the ability to degrade cellulose,whose spores are rich in carotenoids.Moreover,Lactobacillus Plantarum can improve the taste effectively.The solid-state fermentation of agricultural byproduct by Neurospora crassa with Lactobacillus Plantarum,on the one hand,can degrade cellulose,enhance protein and carotenoids,one the other hand,can take advantage of the agricultural production scraps to reproduce,with lower economic cost,environmental friendly.These show that the fermented feed has a broad application prospect in the feed industry.The main content as follows:1.Carotenoids production by solid-state fermentation of yam peel using mixed strains.With the yam peel from Ruichang,Jiangxi province as the main raw material,rice bran for accessories,the technology of solid-state fermentation used to Product carotenoids was studied using Neurospora crassa and Lactobacillus Plantarum.The optimal fermentation conditions for producing carotenoids gained by single factor test and orthogonal test were as follows:rice bran addition amount 32%,solid-liquid ratio 1:1.3,L.plantarum inoculum size 15%and fermentation time 84 h.Under this condition,the yield of carotenoids was(192.54±1.44)?g/g culture.2.A plant design about factory which can product 5000 tons yam skin fermented feed every year.In this paper,the annual output of 5000 tons yam skin fermented feed plant design has carried on systematically.The main contents include plant general layout design,product design solutions and production processes,material accountancy and equipment selection,utility systems,environmental engineering,labor organizations,and economic analysis.The materials used for the production of the first to account for.Then,all majorequipment used in the manufacturing process are selected and designed.Also,the water,electricity and gas consumption have been estimated.At last,the plant economic benefits are estimated.Moreover,the plant drawings are finished combined with various national,corporate standards.
