Cassava stalk cutting is a core part of the cassava harvest,is an important part of the harvester cutter.Cassava stalk cutter cutting performances impacts on cassava harvester performance and development.Now that China has not a reasonable cassava harvester.The energy consumption of cassava stalk cutter work performance is an important indicator.The blade edge angle,blade cutting angle,cutter head speed,the machine forward speed is the key influence factors.Reduce the production cost and improve production efficiency have been the basic requirements of the cassava stalk cutter.Therefore,do experimental study on the energy consumption of cassava stalk cutting and find out a set of the optimal structure parameter with working parameter will speed up the development of cassava harvester.The main conclusions of the study include the followings:(1)Proposed the formulas of the cutter does not leak cutting conditions,avoiding cutter collide cassava stalk and avoiding repeated cutting conditions,through kinematics simulation module of SolidWorks 3D software to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the three formulas.(2)Designed a suitable for experimental study of cutting blade based on the multi-functional test-bed with notched edge blade and smooth edge blade.Used the quadratic regression rotatable orthogonal design and determined the unit torque to be the test indicators.Carried out a simulated cutting experiment with blade edge angle,blade cutting angle,cutter head speed and the machine forward speed of the impact on cassava stalk cutting energy consumption.Finally,the test data collected were analyzed by SPSS regression analysis and two regression models were obtained.The results show that:? Used Mathcad to analyze the single factor of the two models.The condition of various factors impact on the test index unit torque were overall similarity with notched edge blade and smooth edge blade.? The factors of the blade angle,blade cutting angle,cutter head speed and the machine speed impact on the test indexes were very significant.The order of the factors were blade cutting angle,machine speed,blade edge angle and cutter head speed.? Used software Matlab to optimize on the two regression models obtained the optimal parameters of factors.The parameters of the notched edge blade test:the blade edge angle is 37.5,the blade cutting angle is 28,the cutter head speed is 800 and the machine forward speed is 1.The parameters of the smooth edge blade test:the blade edge angle is 38,the blade cutting angle is 27,the cutter head speed is 800 and the machine forward speed is 1.1.
