In order to develop a new type power driven disc plow for dry farmland, the method ofcombining theoretical analysis with experimental studies is adopted in this dissertation tosystematically analyze the effect of geometric and work parameter to its process. Theresearch provides a reliable theoretical and experiment basis.Through strict theoretical analysis, the kinematics characteristic of Power driven discunit is expounded. The equation for calculating the height oftillage residual Is deduced. Thebalance equation of power driven disc plow is built.Based on the field experiment, appropriate range of al parameters can be determined,which provide guideline for unit experiment. The testing device is designed to manage a discunit experiment. The measuring system of three component forces of tillage resistance andtilling torque acting on disc axle and data processing system are built. ThIough the wholefactor experiment, The law of their change dependence on tillage factors are analyzed. Onthe basis of experiments, the geometric and working parameters are optimized and the generalplan of power driven disc plow for dry thrmland is designed.
