With the rapid development of economy,China's pet industry is booming.Due to the increasing number of people raising pets and pet skin disease incidence rate of diagnosis increased,the demand for skin care products is also growing.Thus,It is very necessary to develop new drug types or new drug dosage forms with lower toxic side effects.Itraconazole is a broad spectrum of antifungal drugs,against dermatophytes has significant inhibition and killing effect.In human medicine as oral agents have been used in clinic,but in the field of veterinary medicine is no development.In recent years,Itraconazole in veterinary clinical application to feline tinea infection treatment and clinical use in the security and safety assessment is imminent.The purpose of this test is to study the antibacterial activity of Itraconazole to Microsporum canis which is the feline tinea infection mainly pathogenic bacteria in vitro and all trails was conducted in the body of "the pet with an antibacterial drug efficacy evaluation test guiding principle" and "pet used antimicrobial drug field efficacy test finger under the guiding principles".To an objective and scientific evaluation the anti-sensitivity of Microsporum canis of Itraconazole Oral Liquid,the micro broth dilution method was used in this study.And all study was conduct as the M38-A2,"the sporulation of filamentous fungi broth dilution antifungal susceptibility test reference scheme" is proposed in the National Clinical Laboratory Standards Committee NCCLS/CLSI in 1998.For Microsporum canis of antimicrobial Itraconazole are quite effective.The ill treatment of cat safety evaluation showed,Itraconazole oral solution in 1?2 times the recommended dose use using of clinical cat is safe.Itraconazole Oral
