Phenology refers to the emergence of natural phenomenon on an year cycle when organisms are subject to the environmental factors,such as climate,hydrology and soil.To plant,it mainly refers to the seasonal occurrence of sprouting,branching,leaf exhibiting,flowering,fruiting,defoliating in its growing season.Here,the leaf phenology and the nutrient components of Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f.of different provenances from Taoyuan forest center were analyzed,and their production potential were explored.This study may cast new light on seeking best ecological cultivation methods,scientific cultivation and management as well as breeding of high yield and high quality.The main results are summarized as follows1.The difference in leaf phenology of Tripterygium from different provenances is notable.Although the budding of all examined tripterygium focused on mid-March to early April,the leaf exhibiting is completely different.For Tripterygium in Fujian Sanming(jiang73),the first leaf occurred at the end of March,while for Guangxi Liuzhou(108),the first leaf occurred 30d later.most tripterygium provenance leaves begin in early October,the leaves starting time is relatively concentrated:from the earliest start deciduous Southeast Guizhou(118B)and Fujian Sanming(xie37),and the last of Zhejiang Jinhua(90)and HubeiXianning compared with a difference of only 12d;the average life expectancy of different provenances tripterygium leaf plants for 179d,the shortest life expectancy for FujianLongyan(20A),only 155d,the longest life expectancy in Zhejiang Jinhua(90),to 199d,a difference of nearly 44d.2.The effect of provenance on organic C content was not significant.;organic C content differences between provenances was not significant,Fujian Sanming(32)Provenance Organic C content of the highest content of organic C in January significant differences between the first sampling time(346.487 g/Kg);the highest content of organic C of leaves was 269.41g/Kg.Differences between provenances tripterygium plant N content was significantly different components,the highest root N content(23.2389g/Kg);differences between provenances significantly,Fujian Nanping(4)was the highest seed source N(20.5899 g/Kg);the difference was significant between the different months,the third highest sampling N content(31.905g/Kg).Between different provenances tripterygium different components plant P content were significantly different,the highest root P content(3.035g/Kg);differences between provenances significantly,Zhejiang Quzhou(97)was the highest seed source P(2.3632g/Kg);the difference was not significant between the different months,the fourth highest content of the sample P(3.9699g/Kg).Differences between provenances tripterygium plant K content was significantly different components,leaf K content of the highest(40.7268g/Kg);differences between provenances was not significant,Longyan(20A)Provenance highest K content(25.8476 g/Kg),the difference was significant between the different months,the first sampling time K was the highest(45.0025g/Kg).Differences between provenances plant Tripterygium Ca content was significantly different components,the highest Ca content in leaves(2.8902g/Kg);differences between provenances significantly,Jinhua(90)Provenance highest Ca content(1.5541 g/Kg),the difference was significant between the different months,the third highest sampling Ca content(1.9419g/Kg)3.The effect of provenance as well as constructional element on triptolide content was notable.The maximum triptolide content of the root,branch and leaf was 2.86g/Kg,2.19 g/Kg and 10.99g/Kg,respectively;while the maximum triptolide content of the root,branch and leaf was 0.03g/Kg,0.01 g/Kg and 1.08g/Kg,respectively.The maximum triptolide content of the root,branch and leaf was 95.3,219 and 10.2 times higher than corresponding minimum triptolide content,respectively.4.The results of leaf phenology,nutrition content and accessibility indicate that the leaves of T.wilfordii can be an alternative resource for preparing triptolide.Zhejiang Lishui(94)is an excellent germplasm resources.On one hand,its triptolide content is high and stable.On other hand,Zhejiang Lishui(94)shown the same quality as Jinhua(90),Quanzhou,Fujian Province(86),Quzhou(97)in entire phenology period.Finally,the leaf number of Zhejiang Lishui(94)is greater than other provenances except for Fujian Quanzhou(86),Zhejiang Quzhou(97).
