| In recent years,large-scale pig farms become the mainstream,following the increasing demand for feed.The mishandling of feed raw materials and finished products in various sectors such as transport and storage will lead to moldiness.Mycotoxin poisoning of pigs can cause pathological and physiological changes,such as growth retardation,diarrhea,reducing antioxidant function and immune function,and so on,if severe,resulting pigs died,but fungal toxins harmful often overlooked in production management of pig farm.Ochratoxin is a group of structurally similar toxic metabolites generated by Aspergillus and Penicillium toxigenic strains and present in a wide variety of food,feed and other agricultural products.The most common method of reducing the hazards of mycotoxins is to add de-mold agent in animal diets,but the direct use of de-mold agents have a lot of restrictions.Probiotics with its non-toxic,non-resistance,no residue,and the significant effect,low cost,and effectively supplementing the beneficial microbes in the digestive tract,has become an ideal feed additives.Animal probiotics can effectively promote the absorption of nutrients,inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria,improve volume antioxidant capacity,enhance immunity and improve growth performance.In this paper,the impact of compound probiotics on decreased growth performance,antioxidant and immune function induced by ochratoxin were studied,which provide a scientific basis for the compound probiotics application in pigs ochratoxin posioning.The contents of each experiment are as follows:Experiment 1:Effects of compound probiotics on OTA-reduced growth gerformance of pigletsThirty six Duroc ×(Landrace×Largewhite)weaned piglets were chosen from a pig farm and were randomly divided into 3 groups,tweleve weaned piglets in each group.Control group(fed basal diets),OTA group(400 ppb OTA),compound probiotic group(3%compound probiotics + 400 ppb OTA).Results showed that under the same conditions of feeding and rearing environment,OTA group reduced the growth performance of piglets compared with the control group,as demonstrated by the lower average daily gain,improving feed conversion and the rate of diarrhea.Compound probiotics reversed the effect of these changes induced by OTA for piglets,as demonstrated by increasing average daily gain and reducing diarrhea rates.The results showed that compound probiotics supplementation could alleviate ochratoxin poisoning of piglets,providing some scientific basis for the application of compound probiotics in pig industry.Experiment 2:Effects of compound probiotics on OTA-reduced anti-oxidation of weaned pigletsThirty six Duroc ×(Landrace×Largewhite)weaned piglets were chosen from a pig farm and were randomly divided into 3 groups,tweleve weaned piglets in each group.Control group(fed basal diets),OTA group(400 ppb OTA),compound probiotic group(3%compound probiotics + 400 ppb OTA).Results showed that under the same conditions of feeding and rearing environment,ochratoxin A can significantly reduce blood GPX activity and serum SOD activity,serum MDA content compared with the control group.Compound probiotics can significantly improve blood GPX activity and serum SOD activity and significantly decreased serum MDA content of piglets.Compound probiotics supplementation could relieve oxidative stress induced by ochratoxin,which provide a theoretical basis for the application of compound probiotics in pigs ochratoxin poisoning of piglets.Experiment 3:Effects of compound probiotics on OTA-reduced immune function of weaned pigletsThirty six Duroc ×(Landrace×Largewhite)weaned piglets were chosen from a pig farm and were randomly divided into 3 groups,tweleve weaned piglets in each group.Control group(fed basal diets),OTA group(400 ppb OTA),compound probiotic group(3%compound probiotics + 400 ppb OTA).Results showed that under the same conditions of feeding and rearing environment,ochratoxin A can significantly reduce the activity of spleen lymphocytes and serum IL-2 content compared with the control group.Compound probiotics can significantly improve the OTA-induced splenic lymphocyte activity and OTA-reduced IL-2 content in piglets.The results indicate that compound probiotics supplementation can relieve immune suppression caused by ochratoxin,which provide a theoretical basis for the application of compound probiotics in pigs ochratoxin poisoning of piglets. |
