| In pigs production,a lots of research for weaned piglets’ feed mainly focused on feeding methods, feeding times, feed nutrition, functional feed additives and the different types of feed affects on production performance, diarrhea rate, morbidity, but few research was about the effects of the different feed types on physiological and biochemical indexes. The beneficial physiological effects of the dietary fiber were paid much attention in past time. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the effects of powder, pellet and dietary fiber on growth performance, serum biochemical index, antioxidant ability and immune function, and to provide a basis for selecting the feed type and possibility of dietary fiber supplementation in weaned piglets diet. This experiments were consisted of two parts as following:Experiment lEffects of the feed types and dietary fiber on growth performance and apparent digestibility of nutrients in weaned pigletsThis research was conducted to assess the effects of the different feed types and dietary fiber on growth performance and apparent digestibility of nutrients in weaned piglets.A total of 168 crossed piglets(Duroc× Landrace × Large white)weaned at 28 days were assigned into 3 treatments with 4 replicates of 14 piglets each, fed two forms of basal diets(powder and pellet),and powder basal diets+2g·kg-1 dietary fiber, respectively. The total experiment lasted for 35 d including 7 days pre-test and 28 days test. The results showed that there were no the difference the effects on growth performance, fecal nutrient content and apparent digestibility of nutrients between power and pellet feed at the end experiment in weaned piglets and the results showed also that the diets added dietary fiber did not significantly affect the growth performance, apparent nutrient digestibility and fecal nutrient content of weaned piglets(P>0.05).Experiment 2Effects of feed types and dietary on serum biochemical index, antioxidant ability and immune function in weaned pigletsThis study was conducted to investigate the effects of the different feed types and dietary fiber on serum biochemical index, antioxidant ability and immune function in weaned piglets.A total of 168 crossed piglets(Duroc×Landrace×Large white)weaned at 28 days were assigned into 3 treatments with 4 replicates of 14 piglets each, fed two forms of basal diets(powder and pellet),and powder basal diets+2g·kg-1 dietary fiber, respectively. The total experiment lasted for 35 d including 7 days pre-test and 28 days test..The results showed that there were no significant the effect on the triglycerides, globulin, total protein,malonaldehyde(MDA),IL-1 β,IL-6 and IL-10 contents, albumin to globulin ratio, total antioxidant capacity of the weaned piglets in serum at 14 d(P>0.05)among the treatment groups, and the contents of glucose and globulin, the levels of IL-1 β and IL-10,the activity of superoxide dismutase and total antioxidant capacity in serum at 28 d had no significant effect(P>0.05).Compared with the group of powder and pellets, dietary fiber supplementation markedly decreased the glucose albumin and total cholesterol contents in serum at 14 d(P<0.05),and the contents of triglycerides, total cholesterol, albumin, total protein and IL-6,the ratio of albumin to globulin in serum at 28 d(P<0.05).dietary fiber supplementation significantly increased the content of urea nitrogen in serum at 14 d(P<0.05),and the activity of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)and catalase(CAT)in serum at 28 d(P<0.05)compared with the group of powder and pellets. The powder, pellet and dietary fiber have a markedly effect on the activity of SOD at 14 d,and the contents of urea nitrogen and MDA at 28 d in serum(P<0.05). |
