The seed crushing device on silage harvester of corn and other high stalk crops,can break the green stalk and the seed of high moisture content,increase crushing effect of stalk and feeding effect,and the performance of silage harvester,ensure the feeding quality of silage.The research status of seed crushing technology of corn silage harvester was analyzed,the problems existing in the research of seed crushing device were pointed out and the development trends were predicted.In view of the instability of the crushing effect of corn silage harvester,a test bed of seed crushing device was built,the seed crushing test was studied with the feeding speed,the spindle speed and the gap of the cutter roll,and the factors affecting crushing were determined.In order to study the influence of key parameters of crushing device on crushing effect,pure working hour production and production of 1 k Wh,to explore the key factors affecting the crushing,the test results were analyzed.The paper deal with the following sections:1.By researching on the current situation of seed crushing technology at home and abroad,the result shows that,there are some problems in the lack of theoretical research and experimental research on seed fragmentation in China,and the difficulties in the production,manufacture and popularization of seed crushing devices.The prediction of the development trend of the crushing device was made.2.In order to study unstable crushing effect of the seed crushing device of the silage machine,a seed crushing test bed was designed,and the main assemble lings of the test-bed were modeled by 3D software,Solid Works.The feeding device of the test-bed,the power plant and the adjusting device of the knife roll were emphatically studied.3.Three parameters in seed crushing device test bed,the feeding speed,knife roll speed and knife roll clearance can be adjusted.The speed of feeding conveyor can be adjusted by adjusting the feeding speed,and the cutter roll speed can be adjusted by speed motor,and the clearance of cutter roll can be adjusted through mechanism of knife roll.4.In the test-bed of the seed crushing device,three-factor three-horizontal orthogonal test was conducted.Using DPS to analyze the results of the test and variances.The factors affecting the crushing effect of the main order were achieved: spindle speed,cutter roll spacing and feeding speed,found the effect factors of the best crushing effect of this test bed,the level combination is as follows: feed speed is 2.1 m/s,spindle speed is 1020 r/min,cutter roll spacing is 9 mm.
