Henosepilachna vigintioctopunctata(Fabricius),twenty-eight spot lady beetle,distributes from south to north in China.It was a typical polyphagous pest and did harm to Solanaceae.As light pollution expands on the earth,much attention should be paid to spatial-temporal pattern of pests.With the change of light pollution,the change of rhythm behavior was obvious.In this thesis,it was tested that how H.vigintioctopunctata adult feeds,walks,mates and lays eggs under different photoperiods,photoperiod position and different LED light sources.The results were shown as following:The photoperiod influenced both male and female's feeding and walking behavior,which occurred mainly in the light period.Feeding of both male and female happens most frequently in L16:D8 treatment,the same is walking of female were highest.Male's frequency of walking was largest in L13:D11 treatment.The results also showed that the mating behavior happened mainly in rhythm and the peak advanced with the shortness of light period.The egg-laying behavior occurred in both the light and dark period.The mating and egg-laying percentages were significantly higher in the light period than those in the dark period.The mating percentage in the light period reached the maximum in L13:D11 treatment.The egg-laid reached the maximum in L15:D9 treatment.The feeding behavior of adult had circadian rhythm and mainly occurred from10:00 to 12:00 in the morning.The feeding percentage was higher during the day than that during the night in all treatment.The walking behavior of adult also indicated circadian rhythm.Walking occurred during the whole day,but mainly for the light period.The walking percentage in the light period was higher than that in the dark period in all treatment.The feeding and walking behavior of H.vigintioctopunctata adult indicated a circadian rhythm and the position of light period influenced the rhythm.The position of light period had little influence on the circadian rhythm of feeding behavior,while great influence could be found on the walking behavior.Different LED light sources affected the rhythm of H.vigintioctopunctata adult.The feeding behavior of male and female was least be found in green light treatment,but walking behavior happened mostly in green light treatment and least in blue light treatment.Mating occurred mostly in green light treatment,least in darkness treatment,followed by blue light treatment,which was the same in egg-laying.Circadian rhythm of mating and egg-laying was most active in green light treatment among different LED light treatment.Different photoperiods had different effects on the feeding,walking,mating and egg-laying rhythm of H.vigintioctopunctata adult.The long illumination had a great influence on the feeding and egg-laying behaviors,and the short light had a great influence on the male walking and mating behavior.The position of light period had different influences on feeding,walking,mating and egg-laying.Little influence can be found on the circadian rhythm of feeding behavior,while great influence was found on the walking behavior.Different LED light sources affected the feeding,walking,mating and egg-laying rhythm of H.vigintioctopunctata adult,and green light and blue light has most effects on the behavior rhythm.
