Maize is the largest crop in our country and plays an increasingly important role in the agricultural and national economy development.Its output and quality are influenced by the quality of hybrids and flower synchronization is one of the most troublesome problem in in hybrid seed production.At present,the wrong sowing is mainly used in the controlling technology of flowering period.Seed coating technology is a technology applied in agricultural production,currently used to change the irregular shape of the seeds,prevent diseases and insect pests,improve the seedling and crop nutrition and improve the resistance to natural environment,but there is few report in regulation of seedling emergence.This study aims to develop seed coating formulation for regulation of maize seedling,flowering regulation of maize and establish corresponding evaluation system,in order to regulate seedling emergence time,keep florescence meet in a certain time range and achieve one-time mechanization of planting.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The available materials were selected from 38 kinds of polymer membrane materials.The results showed that MR-879,A-539 and acrylate SY-211 had better performance of membrane separation,which could be used as the main material of the formula.The different solid content of the film forming material have different performance,and the most suitable solid content of MR-879,A-539 and SY-211 is about 44%.2.Four formulations are optimized by the method of indoor germination test.The first formula?MR-879:44%,MR-873A:2.8%,polyvinyl alcohol:1.3%,water:52%,The ratio of seeds to filming materials:4:1?,the second formula?A-539:44%,H-34:2.8%,polyvinyl alcohol formula:1.3%,water:52%,The ratio of seeds to filming materials:4:1?,the third formula?SY-211:44%,HK-718:4.2%formula,cellulose:0.2%,water:52%,The ratio of seeds to filming materials:3:1?,the fourth formula?SY-211:35%,A-539:9%,H-34:2.8%formula,cellulose sodium:0.2%,water:53%,The ratio of seeds to filming materials:3:1??Germination tests were carried out at 25 degrees C and 40%relative water sand beds.The result showed that average germination time?3.1,3.6,4.3,4.8 days,respectively?was longer than that of CK.The fourth formulations have the best delay effect and can be used for the regulation of seedling emergence,flowering regulation,the realization of the seed production mechanization of one-time sowing.3.Through formulation processing seed germination and field planting,our results showed that both different hybrid parental inbred lines seeds with the same formula process and different indoor water sand bed conditions with the same formula processing same species had different delay effect.The delay effect of formulation would decrease with the increase of the moisture in sand bed.4.According to the correlation analysis of the delay days of seedling emergence between greenhouses and in the field,we found that When the relative water content of sand bed was40%,the correlation was most obvious.and it had a linear relationship.The corresponding linear equation for the first formulations is y=1.463x+1.1655,R2=0.9435**.The corresponding linear equation for the second formulations is y=1.5673x+1.0389,R2=0.9479**;The corresponding linear equation for the third formulations is y=1.6231x+0.9388,R2=0.9688**;The corresponding linear equation for the fourth formulations is y=2.198x-2.3098,R2=0.956**;?Y is the number of delay days of seedling emergence in the field,X is the number of delay days of seedling emergence under 40%relative water sand bed conditions in 25?greenhouses?.
