Swine parasitology has always been one of the important factors that affect pig breeding and pig health. Some zoonotic parasites not only affect the cost and economic benefits of pig breeding, but also greatly affect public health and human health. In recent years, the pig breeding in fujian has changed to the development model of scale, standardization and ecological environmental protection.Due to the change of management mode, environmental hygiene and the different degree of attention to the prevention and control of parasites in large-scale pig farms, the prevalence of parasitic diseases will change greatly and become a new difficult problem in the current scale farming industry. In this study,we analyzed the intestinal parasites and Toxoplasma infection in some large-scale pig farms in Fujian. It can make more effective regimens of anthelmintic, decrease the cost of drug use, reduce animal stress, improve the scientificity and effectiveness of parasitic disease control in pig farms according to the latest situation of swine intestinal parasites and toxoplasmosis infection.1.To carry out the investigation of intestinal parasites infection from 15 large-scale pig farms in Fujian area. The number of samples surveyed was 1068.The number of positive farms was 15,and the positive rate of pig farms was 100%.The survey found that pigs Balantidium coli(trophozoites and cysts)were positive in 302 samples, and the infection rate was 27.81%,the pig oocysts positive in 15 samples, and the infection rate was 1.4%,Ascaris suum eggs were positive in one sample, and the positive rate was 0.09%.Strognyloides ransomi eggs were positive in one sample, and the positive rate was 0.09%.Among them, the boars infection rate of pigs Balantidium coli was highest(49.33%),the suckling piglets was lowest(5.10%),and the highest rate of coccidia infection was reserved sows(3.68%),and the lowest was nursing pigs(0.7%).2.Closely combined with the life history of T.gondii, the mature spores are pig swallowed will pass through the intestinal wall with blood or lymph circulation and systemic spread of cells in tissues(brain, lung and hilar lymph nodes and other organs),and the blood is stored in Toxoplasma gondii pigs after infected 12D or 13D.PCR is used to detect the DNA of Toxoplasmagondii from venous bloodof pigs, that is a simple, direct and effective method for detection of Swine Toxoplasmosis.Using this method, the 398samples for Toxoplasma gondii infection in 9 pig farms in Fujian area was investigated. There were 6 positive pig farms, and the positive rate was 66.7%.The infection rate of pig farms in each pig farm was uneven, and the average infection rate was 21.6%(86/398).To sum up,the hog nematode, tapeworm and fluke disease in some large-scale pig farms in Fujian province have been well controlled, and the infection of protozoa and Toxoplasma is serious. Therefore,it should be paid full attention to the prevention of protozoa and Toxoplasma in the process of pig breeding, and adjusting and perfecting the insect repellent measures in time.To strengthen the monitoring of swine Toxoplasma gondii, and carry out detection before introduction in boars and sows especially, screening out positive pigs, avoid cross-contamination between the breeding stock.
