In this study,Danzhou chicken was used as experimental material to determine the growth performance,slaughter performance and meat quality.And the growth curve fitting,the analysis of correlation and principal component were performed.The DNA barcode technology was used to identify the Danzhou chickens and other breeds.The result was as follow:1.The results of research on the production performance of Danzhou chicken1.1 The feathers of the adult Danzhou chicken roosters were golden or jujube red,and the hens were light or deep linen.The roosters and hens shank is yellow and the beard was yellow.At the age of 40,the weight of the mature roosters was 1362.32±140.23g,and the mature hen's weight was 980.51±71.42g.1.2The correlation between the weight and the size of Danzhou chicken was the most correlated with weight and slanting and tibial circumference(P<0.05),which can enhance the selection of weight traits with slanting and tibial circumference.The comprehensive evaluation index of 13 weeks for breeding of Danzhou chickens is precede to 10 weeks.Through the correlation analysis of phenotypic,it showed that the weight was related to tibial length and slanting.As for the multiple optimal regression model between weight and scale,and the hens wasY=-648.03+52.17X4+72.54X6+137.09X7,and the roosters was Y=-1047.67+58.13Xi+249.77X7.1.3Through three models of the Danzhou chicken growth curve fitting analysis,we could find that the Logistic model was the most suitable.The growth simulation curve equation of the rooster was Y=1340.4/(1+51.6007*e(-0.3453*t)),and the growth simulation curve equation of hens was Y=960.7/(1+35.0503*e(-0.3295*t)),which has a certain guiding significance in the production of Danzhou chicken.2.The results of study on the slaughter performance and meat quality of Danzhou chickenBy comparing the meat performance indexes of Danzhou chicken at the age of 19 weeks and 22 weeks,it showed that the meat performance of the nineteen-week-old Danzhou chicken was better than 22 weeks,so it was suitable for slaughtering at the age of 19 weeks.Through the correlation analysis of the slaughter traits,the half bore rate and the full bore rate were found the largest.The expressions of 3 principal components' analysis were the follwing:Prini=0.3628Xi+0.2523X2+0.4410X3+0.4437X4+0.3259X5+0.2779X6-0.4796X7,Prin2=-0.2178X1+0.5516X2+0.3363X3+0.3250X4-0.3729X5-0.5045X6+0.1897X7,Prin3=0.6596Xi-0.0745X2-0.0804X3+0.1129X4-0.6864X5+0.2163X6+0.1493X7.According to the comprehensive slaughter performance and the main score,it can be concluded that the slaughter performance of the rooster was better than that of the hen.The meat quality of the Danzhou chicken at 19 weeks was good,but the water retention was lower than 22 weeks.The protein content of the chest muscle of Danzhou chicken was high and the fat content was low,which was suitable for the development of high quality chicken.3.The research of identifying Danzhou chicken and other varieties according to DNA barcodeThe difference between Danzhou chicken and five breeds was evaluated by the cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene as standard DNA barcode.The results showed that the number of heterotopic points of cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene of Danzhou chicken was the most,indicating that the genetic diversity of Danzhou chicken was relatively rich,and the intra species genetic distance of Danzhou chicken was the largest,and the stability of the genetic basis of Danzhou chicken population was poor.The relationship between Danzhou chicken and two foreign breeds was far from that the domestic varieties,and the relationship between the domestic breeds was close.The Danzhou chicken and foreign breeds were clustered,indicating that the selection intensity of the Danzhou chicken was lower.This study will provide a basis for the development and utilization of Danzhou chicken's germplasm resources as well as the standardized breeding of the future varieties.
