Hydrangea by color,pattern beautiful and rich,with a symbol of happy reunion and a high ornamental value widely used in upscale cut flower market in recent years.Current horticultural studies of cultivation management,physiological form and classification and identification,but the preservation methods of cut flower are relatively insufficient.In my study,the preservation effect on cut flowers of Hydrandea Kuhnert by physical and chemical methods were investigated.The main results were as follows:1.Pre-cooling treatment of hydrangea cut flowers.The cut flowers were stored in a cold storage at 6?,for 1 d,2 d,3 d and 4 d.The vase life,fresh weight changing rate,water balance value,proline and malondialdehyde(MDA)content were measured and analyzed.These results showed that the pre-cooling treatment at 6? for 3 days could optimize physiological indexes of hydrangea cut flowers to a large extent,by prolonging the vase time and improving the ornamental quality of this cut flowers.2.The study of preservation recipe for hydrangea cut flowers.First,the sole carbon source(sucrose,trehalose or chitosan)screening tests were performed,showing that the optimum carbon source was sucrose(12 g/L).In addition,two preservation organic acids(citric acid,salicylic acid),and ethylene inhibitor(1-methyl cyclopropene,1-MCP)were measured.In the preservation screening test,four concentration gradients were set up for ethylene inhibitors.And each organic acid,and 4 treatment time gradients were set up for ethylene inhibitors,and single factor tests were carried out in all experiment respectively.these results indicated that optimum carbon sources,optimum concerntration of organic acid and optimum processing time of 1-MCP in preservative recipe for hydrangea cut flowers were sucrose(12 g/L),citric acid(60 mg/L),and 1-MCP(3 days),respectively.3.The preservative recipe for hydrangea cut flowers were further optimized through the rotary quadratic combination design,with vase days as the index.These results indicated the optimum preservative recipe for hydrangea cut flowers were 8.36 g/L sucrose,51.59 mg/L citric acid and 2.31 d processing of 1-MCP.This preservative recipe could prolong the vast life of hydrangea the cut flower for 35 days as compared with water control.
