| Sericulture industry,a traditional advantage industry in China,was one of the Ten Leading Industries of Agriculture in Zhejiang Province,and also an economic industry with regional characteristics in Pan'an county.In the national economy,the sericulture industry has formed a complete industrial system of "Agriculture-Industry-Trade",and continued to use production and operation modes of mulberry planting for silkworm rearing and cocooning for silk reeling for a long time,resulting in a tremendous waste of sericulture by-products,land,labor and other resources and failing to fully and effectively use sericulture resources.In recent years,the sericulture industry was faced with the structural and regional optimization and adjustment,and showed gradually shrunk production scale and increasingly declined comparative benefits.For the problems and severe challenges in the development of the sericulture industry,the successful transformation from traditional sericulture industry to modem sericulture industry depended on the following suggestions:taking the comprehensive utilization development of the sericulture resources as an important breakthrough,making full use of various resources of the sericulture industry chain,following the course of diversified development and utilization of resources and improving production efficiency and enhancing product added value,to realize the transformation and upgrading of the sericulture industry.In this context,the problems that how to give full play to industry with its own characteristics and regional advantages to carry out the comprehensive utilization of sericulture resources,accelerate the modernization process of sericulture industry,enhance the comprehensive production capacity of sericulture industry,and achieve the transformation,upgrading and sustainable development of sericulture industry,were in urgent need to be solved in the development of current sericulture industry of Pan'an,a high-quality cocoon production base in Zhejiang Province.The present study consisted of five parts.Part 1 mainly elaborated the background of the topic,and briefly introduced the general situation on the development of sericulture industry and the comprehensive utilization of sericulture resources in China and in Zhejiang Province,respectively;Part 2 reviewed the development history of sericulture industry in Pan'an county,analyzed advantages of sericulture industry development in Pan'an county in terms of geographical location,natural ecology,product quality,organization and service,etc.,and described the current situation on the comprehensive utilization of sericulture resources in Pan'an county regarding comprehensive utilization of silk resources,comprehensive utilization of mulberry resources and compound management and utilization of mulberry fields;Part 3 conducted in-depth analysis on the problems in the sericulture industry development and the comprehensive utilization of sericulture resources in Pan'an county with respect to development scale,personnel structure,science and technology promotion,marketing management,etc;Part 4 proposed ideas and countermeasures on the comprehensive utilization and development of sericulture resources in Pan'an county through combining practical research,and multiple utilization modes,such as "Mulberry-Silkworm-Medicine","Mulberry-Silkworm-Bacteria","Mulberry-Silkworm-Bird","Mulberry-Fruit-Tour" and development of other sericulture by-products,etc.,were used to extend the sericulture industry chain,increase the added value of the sericulture industry,promote the healthy and stable development of sericulture,Chinese herbal medicine,edible fungi,animal husbandry,leisure tourism and other industries;and Part 5 made a conclusion of our findings,and provided prospects on the next-step development direction of the sericulture industry in Pan'an county. |
