Cash forest is an important tree species and can product timber,the nut and edible oil.In recent years,the cash forest has been sharply expanded because of the economic benefit of the cash forest and the support from the local government department.At the same time,the serious ecological problem made by human activities limits the cash forest development greatly.The research explored the basic content first,including the cash forest growth environment and the computer technique.The research on cash forest growth environment focuses on the probable environment factors influencing the cash forest growth with the two perspective of aboveground and underground.So,we collected the image and survey data corresponding to the environment factors and extracted the variables from these data using the RS and GIS technique method,such as the normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI),multi-size texture,elevation,slope,soil type,precipitation and so on.Then we studied the knowledge of computer technique,open source architecture and development environment and built a computer environment.Based on the basic content research,we studied the knowledge about the spatial prediction of soil organic carbon(SOC),suitability assessment,soil erosion by reading the submitted scientific papers.Then these knowledge was applied to assess the cash forest ecological suitability and process the result data for decision support system development with different method.At the meanwhile,we use different computer language to implement the algorithm used for suitability assessment.At last,based on the previous study,we finished the system design and implement.Therefore,we selected the C++,Java and R as the base technique language,and Geo Tools,GDAL and Armadillo as the main open source library,used for GIS UI,GIS data reading and image computation.This research takes Lin'An hickory as the study target and developed a decision support system(DSS)with the characteristic of easy UI and cross platform.The algorithm(mainly machine learning algorithm)is the core of the DSS.This research result fills the blank of the cash forest DSS research and provides a new intelligent platform for cash forest scientific management.And it is significant for the sustainable development of cash forest.
