Assessment And Investigation Of Germplasm Resources Of Alpinia Oxyphylla Miq. In Maoming

As a tropical subtropical precious medicinal herb,Alpinia oxyphylla has many important medicinal value.Alpinia oxyphylla is also an important forestry by-product of Maoming,which have good economic value.Through consulting documents and investigating on the field,this paper investigates the distribution,growth status,cultivation history,cultivation environment,cultivation measures and industrial development situation of Alpinia oxyphylla in Maoming and collect a large number of germplasm resources.Based on the phenotypic indexes of fruit,leaf,seed and stem,the cluster analysis was carried out to explore the types of Alpinia oxyphylla in maomao area.According to the content of flavonoids in fruit,high-quality species and excellent fruit spikes were selected,and the correlation between flavonoid content and phenotypic traits was investigated.The main findings are as follows:(1)The phenotypic traits of fruit leaf,stem and seed of Alpinia oxyphylla have different degrees of variation,and the phenotypic traits of fruit had the highest degree of variation,which could be used as the basis to identify the germplasm resources of Alpinia oxyphylla.(2)The cluster analysis of phenotypic traits divided 144 samples into 8 types.Principal component analysis showed that fruit size,fruit shape and leaf size had a significant impact on the results of cluster analysis results.(3)According to the flavonoids content of fruit and single-spike total flavonoids content,two kinds of Alpinia oxyphylla and eleven excellent fruit spikes were selected,which have high flavonoids content.(4)Correlation analysis of flavonoid content and phenotypic traits showed that there was a significant negative correlation between flavonoid content and fruit size and fruit weight,but the phenotypic traits of leaf and seed has no obvious correlation.The content of total flavonoids in single spike was positively correlated with the fruit traits such as fruitnumber per spike,weight of single spike,diameter of fruit spike,fruit spike length and other fruit traits,but not with the leaf traits and seed phenotypic traits.(5)The stem of Alpinia oxyphylla has a beautiful shape.The leaves are evergreen and bright.The flowers are beautiful and unique and its fragrance is wonderful.Alpinia oxyphylla has high ornamental value and the prospect of garden application.
