| The study measured the content of nutrient of the Broussonetia papyrifera leaves(BPL)and twig leaves(BPTL)in different producing areas,and assessed the metabolizable energy in Magang geese;Then,we studied the ratio of different composition of BPTL in terms of21-70 d geese growth performance,slaughter performance,organ development,etc,to provide scientific and realistic of BPTL application in geese.The experiment is divided into three parts;The first part is to collect six BPL samples from Hunan,Hubei,Henan,Hebei,Sichuan,and Anhui province,and three BPTL from Guangdong province,determining the content of conventional nutrient and some of the active ingredients,respectively.The second part is the assessment of metabolite energy of the BPL and BPTL in Magang geese.The third part 864 healthy 22-day-old geese with similar body weight were randomly assigned to 6 dietary treatments following a randomized complete block design,each treatment was replicated 6 times with 24 geese per pen and raised to 70 days.The dietary treatments were designed as the experiment diet which containing peanut vine 0%,3%,6%,9%,12% and 15%.Results(1)For six BPL samples,the average contents of crude protein,crude fat,crude ash,calcium,total phosphorus,crude fiber,NDF,ADF,water-soluble polysaccharides,total flavonoids,tannins and phytic acid were 22.49%,2.19%,17.81%,3.12%,0.54%,13.89%,29.01,16.43%,5.11%,541.89μg/g,233.07μg/g,3.09mg/g,respectively.(2)For three BPTL samples,the average contents of crude protein,crude fat,crude ash,calcium,total phosphorus,crude fiber,NDF,ADF,water-soluble polysaccharides,total flavonoids,tannins and phytic acid were 16.99%,1.44%,13.77%,1.58%,0.37%,25.12%,40.48%,27.07%,3.73%,652.89μg/g,216.91μg/g,4.15mg/g,respectively.(3)The mean AME and TME values of six BPTL sample were 9.72 MJ/kg and 10.23MJ/kg,and three BPL were 6.87 MJ/kg and 7.35 MJ/kg,respectively.(4)In the feeding and testing stage,different BPTL content had no significant effect on the final weight of geese,ADG and ADFI(P>0.05),and F/G value was significant(P<0.05).When the content was higher than 12%,the value of F/G was significantly higher than control and 3% group.(5)There was no significant difference in the slaughter rate,semi-net licking rate,net licking rate,of the experimental geese(P>0.05).There was no significant effect on the organ weight,the length and weight of intestine and the blood serum biochemical indexes of the geese with different dosage of BPTL(P>0.05).(6)Although different BPTL content had no significant effect on the crypt depth of the intestine in the experimental goose(P>0.05),the length of the villi in the 3% group was significantly smaller than other groups(P<0.05);The muscle thickness of 3% and 12%group were significantly higher than other groups(P<0.05);Meanwhile,the ratio of the villous height/crypt depth of control,6% and 12% group were significantly higher than the3% group(P<0.05),and 6% group was significantly higher than other groups(P<0.05);Then the jejunum height/crypt ratio of 6% and 12% group were significantly higher than the 3% group(P<0.05).(7)The different content of BPTL had effects on flesh color and pH value.The redness of chest muscles in the 15% group was significantly higher than 3% and control group(P<0.05).And in chest muscles,the pH value of 15% group was significantly higher than other groups at 24 hours(P<0.05)..(8)The level of GSH-PX in liver was significantly influenced by the use of different BPTL(P<0.05).Although the 3% and 6% groups was significantly higher than 12% and15% groups,there was no significant effect on T-SOD,T-AOC,CAT and MDA(P>0.05);Moreover,GSH-PX and CAT level in serum were significant(P<0.05);The level of GSH-PX in 6% and 9% group was significantly higher than the 3%,12% and 15% group.And the CAT value of 9% group was significantly lower than 3% and 6% group,but the T-SOD,T-AOC,and MDA were not significant(P>0.05). |
