In our country,dragon fruit(Hylocereus)is a kind of newly popular tropical and subtropical fruit,which is mainly cultivated in South China.The production period of the dragon fruit can maintain from summer to winter.In the rainy season with high temperature,the humid environment is very suitable for the pathogen,and at this time,which severely damaged the mature of dragon fruit.Meanwhile,in autumn and winter,the fruit ripening stage is prolonged and the exterior quality is not good.To prevent the violation of pathogen,insect,rats,birds to pitaya fruit,bagging,as a kind of green,safe cultivation method,can provide a physical barrier layer for dragon fruit,and can improve the fruit quality of pitaya to some extent.This study was conducted with the ‘Hongguan No.1'(red skin with red flesh)dragon fruit and ‘Hongbaoshi'(red skin with white flesh)dragon fruit as the material,analyzing the effect of 10 different fruit cultivating bags,which were white nylon mesh bag(white mesh bag),black nylon mesh bag,non-woven nutrition bags,Litchi non-woven bag,black non-woven bag,white wax paper bag,black-yellow double wax paper bag,grape paper bag and sulfate paper bag.Three ideal fruit bags were obtained(black non-woven bag,yellow wax paper bag and black mesh bag).The contents of betalain,total phenol,total flavonoids,organic acids and the fruit appearance and internal quality of dragon fruit after bagging were measured.The main results were as follows:The fruit with double bag and black non-woven bag treatment showed high brightness of pericarp.The fruit with yellow wax paper bag is the reddest pericarp and the best fruit appearance.Most of fruit bags can effectively reduce the insect attack,except white mesh bag,nutrition bag and double bag.The results showed that the contents of the soluble solids in the fruit with yellow wax paper bag and nutrition bag treatment were significantly higher than that in the control group.The treatment with yellow wax paper bag and black mesh bag showed slightly rise in the content of soluble solids in ‘Hongguan No.1',but there is no significant difference.According to the appearance,edible quality and field performance analysis,black non-woven bag,yellow wax paper bag and black mesh bag of ten bagging materials were showed to improve the quality of dragon fruit.The comparison analyses of three fruit bag is performed and found the black non-woven bag and yellow wax paper bags treatments could improve the total antioxidant activity in pulp,sugar beet and total phenol content,which were significantly higher than control(P<0.05).The black non-woven bag and yellow wax paper bags treatments could improve the content of citromalic acid in the fruit pulp of ‘Hongguan No.1'(P<0.05).In the black non-woven bag treatments of ‘Hongbaoshi',the content of malic acid,ascorbic acid and citric acid were significantly higher than that of control.However,the yellow waxed paper bag treatment only resulted that the citric acid content significantly higher than the control and the black mesh bag treatment only increases the content of apple acid(P<0.05).In winter,date of fruit coloration from black non-woven bag and yellow wax paper bag,was earlier than that of control.Earlier ripening stage,better fruit appearance and higher content of soluble solids were detected in the presence of black non-woven and yellow wax paper bags.In the process of storage of bagged fruit,the hardness of the unbagged fruit drops faster than the bagged fruit.The average content of ascorbic acid was higher than the control of the fruit ascorbic acid treated with yellow wax paper bag and black mesh bag in the early storage period(0-28 d).
