The aim of this study was investigated the effect of fully mixed granule diet on production performance, blood biochemical index and rumen fermentation of Du Meng sheep. The correlations between nutrition levels, different sources of roughage, and dietary feeding patterns and weight gain levels suggested the best diet formula and fattening technology models to guide production practices. The trial contains three parts:Experiment 1: Effect of different nutrient levels on the production performance, blood biochemical parameters and rumen fermentation index of Dumeng sheep. In this experiment, using single-factor experiment,90 3-month-old lambs of Dumont lambs was randomly divided into 3 groups. The fattening period was lasted 80 days. The energy in the diet of pre-fattening period was the same level, but protein is different. At the end of the fattening, the protein in the diet was same, and the energys different. The results showed that the high energy and high protein level grain diets significantly increased the average daily weight gain, carcass weight, slaughter rate,GR value, kidney weight, and omental fat weight of Dumeng sheep(P<0.05).Diets with high energy and high protein levels significantly increased the blood biochemical indexes such as urea nitrogen, glucose, transaminase and creatine kinase in Du Meng sheep(P<0.05).High energy and high protein diets significantly reduced the pH of rumen fluid in Dumeng sheep and significantly increased the concentration of ammonia nitrogen and bacterial proteins(P<0.05).Experiment 2: Effects of different fiber-derived diets on the growth performance, blood biochemical parameters and rumen fermentation index of Dumeng mutton sheep.Using single-factor experiment,120 three-month-old Dumont lambs were selected and divided into 4 groups. The experimental period was lasted 80 days. The nutrition level of treatments was the same and the length effective fibers were different. The results showed that the whole mixed diet feeding pattern could significantly increase the average daily weight gain, carcass weight, slaughter rate,GR value, renal lipid weight, and omental fat weight of Dumeng mutton sheep(P<0.05).The feed pattern of fully-mixed diets significantly increased the blood biochemical indexes such as urea nitrogen, glucose, transaminase, lactate dehydrogenase, and creatine kinase(P<0.05).Feeding patterns of fully-mixed diets significantly reduced the pH of rumen fluid in Dumeng sheep and significantly increased the concentrations of ammonia nitrogen and bacterial proteins(P<0.05).Experiment 3 Effects of Different Dietary Feeding Patterns on Performance,Blood Biochemical Index and Rumen Fermentation Index of Dumeng Sheep.Using single-factor experiment,120 three-month-old Dumont lambs were selected and divided into 4 groups. The experimental period was lasted 80 days. The diet of Trial 1 and Trial 2 were fed with fully-mixed pellets, and diet of Control 1 and Control 2 were traditionally chopped. The nutrition level of the diet in Trial 1 and the Control 1 were the same and the shapes were different. The roughage was sunflower skin. The nutritional levels of the Trail 2 and Control 2 were the same and the shape was different. The roughage was forage. The results showed that the whole mixed diet feeding pattern could significantly increase the average daily weight gain, carcass weight, slaughter rate,GR value, renal lipid weight, and omental fat weight of Dumeng mutton sheep(P<0.05).The feed pattern of fully-mixed diets significantly increased the blood biochemical indexes such as urea nitrogen, glucose, transaminase, lactate dehydrogenase, and creatine kinase(P<0.05).Feeding patterns of fully-mixed diets significantly reduced the pH of rumen fluid in Dumeng sheep and significantly increased the concentrations of ammonia nitrogen and bacterial proteins(P<0.05).In conclusion, under the current experimental conditions,it can be concluded that high-energy and high-protein level fully-mixed diets can significantly increase the weight gain of Dumeng mutton sheep, improve production performance, optimize blood biochemical indicators, and improve rumen fermentation function;large-scale production of sunflower as a roughage in pastoral areas can replace the pasture granules, but the crushed crushing of sunflower hulls into a fully-mixed diet is more effective and the effect of weight gain is more obvious;the full-mixed granule diet feeding mode which is different from the traditional coarse-grained feeding mode can be significantly improve the production performance of Dumeng sheep, optimize blood biochemical indicators, and increase ruminal fermentation capacity.Dumont sheep fed whole-mixed diets can be produced healthily and grow rapidly, which is suitable for the development of modern animal husbandry.
