Effects Of Mechanized Transplanting And Fertilization On The Growth And Development Of Male Parent In Hybrid Rice Seed Production

To explore the effects on growth and development of male parents with mechanical transplanting and fertilization in hybrid rice seed production,taking Huazhan,Shuhui527and R9311 for the material,the male parents were mechanized transplanting six line with equal-row space(20/25×30cm)and wide-narrow space(20/25×40cm,20 cm),artificial transplanting with equal-row space(20/25×30cm)for the control,using 1 to 3 times of three fertilization treatments.Tiller characters,duration from seeding to heading,heading duration,panicle-spikelet structure of male parents was investigated with three fertilizing methods and two mechanized transplanting methods.Also the most seedling numbers and effective panicle number of mechanized transplanting populations was studied with three fertilizing methods.The results are as follows:(1)The effective panicle and spikelet per unit area of three male parents with equal-row space by mechanized transplanting was significantly higher than that by hand transplanting,it showed the effective panicle and spikelet was significantly increased by mechanized transplanting.Among of these male parents,the effective panicle(383.88 panicle/m~2)and spikelet(69.66 thousand/m~2)of Huazhan with wide-narrow space was significantly higher than the effective panicle((364.07 panicle/m~2)and spikelet(66.17 thousand/m~2)by mechanized transplanting with equal-row space,and the effective panicle and spikelet per unit area of Shuhui527 and R9311 was not significantly difference.The results showed that the effective panicle and spikelet of Huazhan was improved with equal-row space by mechanized transplanting.(2)The number of effective panicle and spikelet per unit area of three male parents was no significant difference by 2 or 3 times fertilizing,but both was significantly higher than by once fertilizing,which was indicated that just once fertilization can improved the effective panicle.The number of spikelet per unit area of three male parents was B3(3 times fertilization)>B2(2 times fertilization)>B1(once fertilization)by three fertilizing methods.The results showed that the number of spikelets per unit area was significantly higher as the increase of times with fertilization.(3)The results showed that the duration from seeding to heading was no significant difference between three male parents by fertilizing method and mechanized transplanting method.The heading duration by mechanized transplanting was shorter than by hand transplanting,and heading duration with three times fertilizing was significantly increased with once fertilizing.(4)The seedling number in single hole by mechanized transplanting was rang of 1~7,with the increase of seedling number in single hole,the shorten rate of heading duration in Huazhan,Shuhui527 and R9311 by mechanized transplanting with wide-narrow space was respectively 30.0%,25.0%and 36.4%.The shortening rate of heading period with equal-row space was 22.2%,18.2%and 27.3%respectively.The results showed that the heading duration was significantly shortened with the increase of seedling number in single hole.(5)With the increase of seedling number in single hole,the mean effective panicle number of three male parents was firstly increased then stable;the mean spikelet per panicle was decreased;the mean spikelet in single hole was firstly increased then decreased because of the spikelet per panicle,the final spikelet of seedling number of 3~5 in single hole was the most.(6)The number of spikelets of Huazhan in single hole with wide-narrow space was increased by 7.4%,8.1%,5.8%,10.1%,15.5%,15.7%and 22.2%respectively,which compared with equal-row space.With the increase of the number of single-hole seedling,the spikelet in single hole of Huazhan with wide-narrow space,which had the stronger tillering ability,was more obvious than that with equal row.The number of spikelets of Shuhui527 in single hole with wide-narrow space was increased by 1.4%,3.2%,3.0%,4.4%,8.5%,8.2%and 14.9%respectively,which compared with equal-row space.The number of spikelets of R9311 in single hole with wide-narrow space was increased by 2.4%,0.8%,1.8%,0.2%,6.2%,6.1%and 9.8%respectively,which compared with equal-row space.With the increase of 5~7 of the number of single-hole seedling,the spikelet in single hole of Shuhui527 and R9311 with wide-narrow space,which had the weaker tillering ability,was more obvious than that with equal row.
