The effective prevention and treatment of early weaning stress in piglets is an important task in academia and production practice.It is of great significance to ensure the health of piglets and promote the growth performance of piglets in the later stage.Natural plant feed additives have the advantages of less toxic and side effects,no residue,and not easy to induce drug-resistant microorganisms,etc.,which is considered to be an ideal substance to prevent and cure early weaning stress in piglets.In order to elect the formula and the best proportion of feed additives which could effectively prevent and cure early weaning stress in piglets,in this experiment,the commonly used natural health plants were combined with formula for breeding test and in vitro bacteriostatic test.The paper includes two experiments.Experiment One: Effects of Natural Plant Feed Additives on growth performance,diarrhea,Plasma biochemical Indexes and Organ Index of early weaning piglets.The experiment used the root of Chinese pulsatilla,coptis,cortex phellodendri,fagopyrum cymosum,astragalus and ciliatenerve knotweed root as raw materials and prepared them into formula 1 and formula 2 feed additives according to different proportions.150 binary hybrid weaned piglets of “Landrace×Yorkshire”,which have similar health condition,weight and weaning day(24±2d),were divided into 5 groups: Control group,treatment group ?,treatment group ?,treatment group ?,treatment group ?.There are three replicates per group,and 10 pigs per replica.The piglets in control group were fed basic diet,while the piglets in treatment group ? and treatment group ? were added 0.5% and 1.0% of formula 1 feeding additive respectively on basis of basic diet as in control group.Treatment group ? and treatment group ? were added 0.5% and 1.0% of formula 2 feeding additive respectively on the basis of basic diet as in control group.The piglets were weaned at the age of 24 days and entered the nursery for 3 days,during which the health status of the piglets and their gregariousnesswere observed.The piglets were fed trial diet gradually and entered the positive trial period after weighing.The trial period lasted for 30 days and was divided into 1-15 days(stage 1)and 16-30 days(stage 2).The test indicators include growth performance(DMI,ANG,ADG,F/G;DM,CP,EE,CF and Ash nutrient digestibility),diarrhea rate,plasma biochemical index(TP,Alb,BUN,UA,ALT,AKP,Glu,Cr,Cor,GH,IgA,IgM,IgG,IFN-?,TNF-?,IL-4,IL-2)and organ index(heart,spleen,lung,kidney,thymus,inguinal lymph node and submandibular lymph node index).The test results are as follows:Growth performance.In terms of DMI,the result in treatment group ? was better,which is 15.9% higher than control group(P<0.05);In terms of ANG,the result in treatment group? was better,which is 18.33% higher than control group(P<0.05);In terms of ADG,the result in treatment group ? was better,which is 21.43% higher than control group(P<0.05);In terms of F/G,the result in treatment group ? was best and there was no significant difference in each group(P>0.05).Nutrient digestibility.For CP,the result in treatment Group ? was better,which was respectively higher than control Group,treatment Group ? and treatment Group ? 5.94,7.03 and 6.12 percentage point;For EE,the result in treatment Group ? was better,which was respectively higher than control Group and treatment Group ? 4.95 and 4.81 percentage point(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in DM,CF,Ash among the groups(P>0.05).Diarrhea rate.With regard to the diarrhea rate,the result in treatment ? was better,which is significantly lower than control group,treatment group ? and ?,the percentage point were respectively 6.30,8.40 and 5.80.Plasma biochemical indexes.With regard to BUN,the result in treatment group ? was better,which is 22.9% lower than control group(P<0.05);For UA,results in treatment group?,treatment group ? and treatment group ? were better,which were 18.56%,24.54% and21.78% significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05).Index in treatment group ?was 16.93% lower than treatment ?(P<0.05);In terms of AKP,results in treatment group ?and control group were better,which were 42.31% and 40.58% higher than control group(P<0.05).For Glu,the result in treatment group ? was better,which was respectively23.71%,22.73% and 21.53% higher than control group,treatment group ? and ?(P<0.05).There was no significant difference for TP,Alb,ALT,Cr,GH,Cor in each group(P>0.05).In terms of IgG,results in treatment group ? and control group were better,significantly higher than that of treatment group ? and ?(P<0.05).Result in treatment group ? was 13.73% and16.90% higher than treatment group ? and ? respectively.Result in control group was 14.99%and 18.19% higher than treatment group ? and ? respectively.IgA,IgM,IFN-?,TNF-?,IL-4,IL-2 of plasma in each group has no significant difference(P>0.05).
