In order to meet the needs of mechanized operation such as mechanical spraying and flying sowing of Wheatgrass seeds,the working process,improving the quality of pellet and the efficiency of pelletization are simplified.The feeding system of Wheatgrass seeds pellet coating machine was studied and designed.The system can realize real-time,accurate supply of species,powder and liquid.The mixing process of seeds liquid and seeds powder was designed before the seeds entered the coating pot,and the mixing time between seeds,powder and liquid was shortened.The mixture of seeds,powder and liquid is more uniform,effectively reducing the bonding probability between seeds,improving the single seeds rate and the passing rate of pellets.EDEM,CPFD and other simulation software were used to simulate the mixing process of liquid and seeds powder.The mixing chamber size,inlet wind speed,seeds coating agent flow rate and other key components' structure and size were determined.The simulation results show that with the increase of inlet air velocity,the expansion of fluidized bed increases,and the concentration of unit volume particles decreases,while the pressure difference increases only slightly.When the inlet wind speed reaches 3.5m/s,particles are suspended to form solid fluidized beds because of air separation.When the seeds coating agent is injected into the fluidized bed with the flow of 0.36L/min,a good bonding bridge and cohesive bridge are formed between the wheatgrass seeds and the solid particles of the powder.It can meet the requirement of pellet coating of wheatgrass seeds.In order to verify the accuracy of the simulation,the orthogonal test was used to verify the prototype.The test results show that: When the seeds volume is 300 g,the powder intake is 450 g,the binder spray amount is 0.36L/min,the inlet wind speed is 3.54m/s,the velocity of the atomizing nozzle is 4.15m/s,the air dew point of the inlet is 15?,the pellet coating effect of the seeds of the ice grass is the best.The device realizes the precise control and real-time control of the feeding system of the Wheatgrass seeds pellet coating machine.The seeds liquid and seeds powder mixing device can obviously reduce the coating time of pellets and effectively improve the single seeds rate and pelleting rate of Wheatgrass seeds.
