Investigation And Analysis Of The Application Of Indoor Plant Walls In Jinan City

The area that can be used for greening is gradually reduced,air quality is declining,urban smog and other environmental problems bring problems and inconvenience to people's daily life,and at the same time reduce the quality of life and happiness index,with the acceleration of urbanization.People prefer a healthier living environment.The appearance of plant walls meets people's needs and gradually enters people's vision.Taking 10 typical plant walls in Jinan City,we mainly explores the plant species,cultivation methods,cultivation matrix,irrigation system,and later maintenance and management used in indoor plant walls.Summarize the present situation of development of plant wall in Jinan City and put forward reasonable suggestions for analyzing its advantages and disadvantages.At the same time,the study of indoor plant walls in Jinan area can provide guidance for the construction of indoor plant walls in the North,and also provide reference value for the study of indoor plant walls in other areas.The results should that:1.A total of 65 species of plant species were used for indoor plant walls in Jinan City,involving 27 families and 30 genera,and plant herbs for plant walls were redundant woody plants.A total of 49 kinds of herbaceous plants,involving 16 families and 37 genera,accounting for 75 %;there are 16 species of woody plants,involving 11 families and 65 genera,accounting for 25 %.Followed by pink and white forever,Ruyi,Jasper,white palm and red Palm,pineapple "red star";The species of leaf plants in the plant wall are much more than those of flower plants and fruit plants;the proportion of shade resistant plants is the largest.2.The plant method of indoor plant wall in Jinan City is mainly mixed,accounting for 90 %.Two types of cultivation matrix are used in the plant walls of Jinan city.The mixed matrix such as grass charcoal and vermiculite is the most used,accounting for 90 %,Another case in which the artificial matrix of the new soil sponge used accounting for 10 %.The indoor plant walls in Jinan City were all controlled by air conditioning,ventilation facilities such as fans were used in 70 per cent of the survey sites,with temperature control at 18 °C-26 °C and relative humidity control at 65 to 85 percent.Besides,all of them were filled with fluorescent lamps,but the distribution of light intensity was uneven.The irrigation system of the plant wall in Jinan City is mainly mixed irrigation,accounting for 60.0 % of the total;Two plants,20.0 per cent each,were irrigated manually and automatically.In the structure of plant wall frame,direct fixed frame is the most used.3.Based on the case study of 10 typical indoor plant walls in Jinan City,although the plant walls in Jinan City have developed rapidly,there are still many problems,which are mainly reflected in the fact that the application of plant walls is not widely used;The overall stability and persistence of plant wall greening are poor;Lack of industry standards and technical specifications for plant wall construction;Plant collocation is not scientific in the late maintenance of plant walls;Daily maintenance is not timely,extreme weather caused by emergencies and so on.4.Based on the case study of 10 typical indoor plant walls in Jinan City,it is suggested that in the future,the choice of plants in plant walls should first be based on evergreen plants with certain ornamental properties.Secondly,choose light plants with shallow roots,slow growth and moderate expansion.Thirdly,choose simple plants for conservation and management;Finally,plant selection should pay attention to humanization and avoid choosing plants that are not conducive to human health and violate customs and habits.5.Based on the case study of 10 typical indoor plant walls in Jinan City,it is suggested that the plant walls should be promoted in the future,and the citizen's green environmental awareness should be improved.Encourage units and individuals at all levels to show greening activities to accelerate scientific and technological innovation and the construction of a team of talents for plant wall greening.The design of the perfect plant wall suggests that increasing plant species,introducing and developing new plant resources;At the same time pay attention to the wall environment,science and plants;In addition,it is necessary to strengthen the artistic design and cultural connotation and sublimate the theme.
