Some pathogenic Escherichia coli can infect a variety of animal E.coli diseases,such as diarrhea and/or diarrhea in humans and animals.Because of the large number of serotypes of E.coli,the prevention and treatment of the disease is still difficult,and commonly used clinical antibiotics are treated.However,the use of antibiotics may cause problems such as the emergence of drug resistance and antibiotic residues As a natural product,traditional Chinese medicine has the characteristics of low toxicity and low residue The study confirmed that Chinese medicine can effectively prevent and treat E.coli.The aim of this study was to investigate the changes of blood physiological parameters,immune-related proteins and hormones,and the possible mechanism of compound Chinese herbs in treating E.coli when infected with E.coli.MethodEPEC was used to make the model.The mice were treated after lassitude and diarrhea.The mice were divided into 6 groups,Group None(N),Group Model(M)and compound recipe of the traditional Chinese medicine group(high,middle and low dose group,namde TCM1,TCM2,TCM3,respectively given 2,1,0.5g/mL of compound recipe of the traditional Chinese medicine in drinking water).On the 4th day,10 mice were randomly selected from each group,weighed.During the experiment,the mice were observed and recorded every day for the clinical symptoms,the time of onset,the number of deaths,and the number of survivors.On the 8th day,10 mice were randomly selected from each group,weighed,and killed to observe the pathological change of mice,and severed heart,lung,liver,spleen,lungs,and thymus to measure viscera indexes.The automatic animal blood cell analyzer was used to detect WBC,NEUT%,LYM%,MID,MONO%,HCT,MCH,PLT in the blood;kits were used to detect GH,T3,T4,ACTH,CORT,LEP,IgA,IgG,IgM in the serumResult1 The mice infected Escherichia coli were in low spirits and weight,yellow loose stools around the anus,mice intestine full of gas,intestinal wall thinning and slight bleeding,intestinal contents yellowing,the mortality rate is 55%.All of these symptoms could be improved by compound recipe of the traditional Chinese medicine,the cure rate is higher than 65%2 On the 4th day of the experiment,compared with the group N,the body weight of mice in the group M was significantly reduced(P<0.05).Compared with the group M,the body weight of mice in the TCM1,TCM2 group significantly increased(P<0.05).On the 8th day of the experiment,compared with the group N,the body weight,spleen index,thymus index,and heart index of the group M were significantly reduced(P<0.01 or P<0.05);compared with the group M,the body weight,spleen index,and thymus index in the TCM1,TCM2 and TCM3 groups were significant increase(P<0.01 or P<0.05).3 Compared with the group N,the PLT,MCH,and LYM%in the group M were significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the WBC,MONO%and NEUT%were significantly increased(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Compared with the group M,the WBC in TCM1 group was significantly decreased(P<0.05);MONO%was significantly decreased in TCM1,TCM2 and TCM3 groups(P<0.01);NEUT%was significantly decreased in TCM1 and TCM2 groups(P<0.05);the PLT in TCM1 and TCM2 groups were significantly increased(P<0.01 or P<0.05).4 Compared with the group N,the levels of T3,T4,GH,IgA,IgG and IgM in the group M were significantly decreased(P<0.01 or P<0.05),and the levels of LEP,ACTH and CORT significant increase(P<0.01).Compared with the group M,the levels of T4,IgA and IgG in the TCM1,TCM2 and TCM3 groups were significantly increased(P<0.01 or P<0.05);the level of LEP in the TCM1,TCM2 and TCM3 groups were significantly reduced(P<0.01 or P<0.05);the level of GH in the TCM1 and TCM2 groups increased significantly(P<0.01);ACTH in TCM1 and TCM2 groups were significantly decreased(P<0.01 or P<0.05);CORT in TCM1 groups decreased significantly(P<0.05);the level of IgM in TCM1 groups increased significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion1 The body weight,spleen index,and thymus index,heart index,PLT,MCH,LYM%,the level of T3,T4,GH,IgA,IgG and IgM of mice infected with Escherichia coli were decreased;WBC,MONO%,NEUT%,the level of LEP,ACTH and CORT were significantly increased.Indicated that immune function in mice infected with Escherichia coli was decreased.2 The body weight,spleen index,thymus index,PLT,MCH,LYM%,the level of T4,GH,IgA,IgG and IgM of mice treated with the compound recipe of the traditional Chinese medicine were increased;WBC,MONO%,NEUT%,the level of LEP,ACTH and CORT significant decrease.Immune function in mice was increased.
