In this paper, the main pests and their dominant species on the main cultivated edible fungi in Yunnan,Guizhou and Sichuan were investigated, and the life history of some dominant species were studied for providing reference for the prevention and control of the pests in southwest China in the future. The surveys on edible fungi pests were conducted from 2017 to 2018 in Yunnan,Guizhou and Sichuan provinces.A total of 73 species in 6 classes,11 Orders, were identified,of which 63 species(6 Classes 11 Orders)in Yunnan province,59 species(6 Classes 11 Orders)in Guizhou province and 56 species(5 Classes 11 Orders)in Sichuan province. The most common pests are Diptera,20 species, followed by Coleoptera,13 species. The species composition and relative abundance of edible fungi pests in Yunnan,Guizhou and Sichuan provinces were analyzed. The dominant species were Megaselia tamilnaduensis Disney,Lycoriella pleuroti Yang et Zhang,Scatopse sp.and Drosophila melanogaster Meigen.Among them,Scatopse sp.was the dominant species in the three provinces, and it was also the most serious species, almost harming all edible fungi in southwest China. As for the main pests,Describing Scatopse sp.,L.pleuroti Yang et Zhang,M.tamilnaduensis Disney,Bradysia minpleuroti Yang et Zhang,Agriolimax agrestis Linnaeus,D.Melanogaster Meigen,Mycophila fungicola Felt and Labidura japonica(De Haan)and taking feature maps.M.tamilnaduensis Disney and Scatopse sp.were fed in laboratory to observe the growth and development period. The egg stage of M.tamilnaduensis Disney is generally 1-2 days, the larval stage is 7-8 days, the pupa stage is 7-9 days, the adult stage is 3-4 days, and the optimum temperature is 27 C.The egg stage of Scatopse sp.is 2-3 days, the larval stage is 14-16 days, the pupa stage is 4-5 days, and the adult stage is 3-4 days. The optimum temperature is 20-28 C.
