| Dietary supplementation of a certain amount yeast selenium showed positive effects on relieving the oxidative stress and improving growth performance and antioxidant ability,however,the best level of yeast selenium in diet is controversial.192 Duric×Landrace×Yorkshire piglets,with similar body weight and weaned on day 21,were randomly allotted to 4 treatments,with 8 replicates per treatment and 6 piglets per replicate.The control treatment was fed with basic diet;the other three treatment groups were supplemented with 0.15,0.30,and 0.60 mg/kg yeast selenium in basal diets,respectively.The experiment lasted for 4 weeks(28 d).The results showed:(1)The results showed that 0.30 mg/kg yeast selenium group had the highest average daily feed intake(ADFI)in the four groups(P<0.05),and the ADFI in the 0.15 mg/kg and 0.60 mg/kg yeast selenium were lower than that in the 0.30 mg/kg yeast selenium group and higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The weight gains of three yeast selenium group were higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),0.30 mg/kg yeast selenium group had the highest weight gain.The.feed gain ratio of three yeast selenium group were lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),among which 0.30 mg/kg yeast selenium group had the lowest feed gain ratio.(2)The number of diarrhea piglets was the same and the smallest in 0.30 mg/kg and 0.60 mg/kg yeast selenium group.The number of diarrhea piglets in 0.15 mg/kg yeast selenium group was higher than that in the other two yeast selenium groups and lower than that in the control group.(3)Dietary yeast selenium increased the serum antioxidant capacity of piglets.Compared with the control group,SOD and GPX-Px in the serum of three piglets fed with yeast selenium increased significantly(P<0.05),and the serum MD A level was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).(4)Dietary yeast selenium increased the antioxidant capacity of liver in piglets.Compared with the control group,the activities of GPX-Px,SOD,T-AOC,anti-O2-,and anti-OH were increased in three yeast selenium groups(P<0.05),and the content of MDA in the liver was significantly decreased(P<0.05).The antioxidant effect of selenium treated with 0.30 mg/kg selenium was the best compared with the control group(P<0.05).Through comparing the effect of different level of dietary yeast selenium on the growth performance,serum antioxidant capacity,and liver antioxidant capacity of piglets,it was considered 0.30 mg/kg dietary yeast selenium as the first choice. |
