Silage was carried out by mixing 15%,25%,35%and 50%of rhizome with alfalfa.Alfalfa silage alone was used as the control, and a series of related indexes were determined. The results showed that the pH value decreased significantly(P<0.05),the acetic acid content increased significantly(P<0.05),and the ammonia nitrogen content decreased significantly(P<0.05).According to the analysis of silage quality,it was found that 15%of rhizoma cyanobacteria had better effect on silage quality. Each trial group in vitro test, the test results show that the alfalfa silage, adding 15%emperor bamboo grass alone treatment group and 25%emperor bamboo grass group pH range is in line with rumen normal pH range, with the percentage of emperor bamboo grass to add up,ammonia nitrogen, the degradation rate of dry matter and VFA downward trend, but add treatment group 15%,25%,the emperor bamboo grass and clover silage alone, there is no significant difference(P>0.05).According to the comprehensive analysis of silage quality and rumen fermentation parameters,15%of rhizoma cyperi was the best.
