Study On Farmland Marginalization And Its Driving Mechanism In Youxi County

With the rapid industrialization and urbanization,the quantity and quality of cultivated land are in decline,farmland marginalization increasingly serious,there appears the phenomenon of abandoned land in different degrees were China around.The method of marginalization is a new approach to the study of LUCC,and is a new exploration of the law of land change.Strengthening the research of farmland marginalization and analyzing the driving factors which affect changes of farmland marginalization are of great benefit to adjust the structure of rural labor force and use the arable land reasonably.Meanwhile these will ensure the National food security and help advance the harmoniously development of region.Selecting one of the national commodity grain base county of Youxi County as the research object,using binary Logistic regression model and multiple linear regression model,the paper carries out a research on the spatial and temporal dynamic changes and the driving forces in the farmland marginalization in Youxi County from the two aspects of complete marginalization and seasonal marginalization.The results are listed as follows:(1)the phenomenon of farmland marginalization widely exists and have regular;(2)the quality of cultivated land and its environmental conditions is an important factor of farmland marginalization;(3)The increase of opportunity cost of farming labor make transfer of labor force is an important factor influencing farmland marginalization;(4)introducing economic crops to change agricultural planting structure is an important factor of farmland marginalization;(5)farmers Participation in land transfer and intensive use of cultivated land is a important factors of farmland marginalization.According to the conclusion,the main suggestions are as follows:(1)develop rural cooperatives,realize agricultural industrialization;(2)Integrate cultivated land,promote agricultural mechanization and strengthen mechanization consciousness.(3)introducing economic crops to intensive use of cultivated land;(4)encourage the transfer of cultivated land and support the transferee of cultivated land.
