Traditional information management system usually focus on the design of the database,offering basic functions such as create,update,retrieve and delete.But forestry projects because of their need to observe and record the growth of the plants,often have breeding bases and demonstration bases.And these bases also have different geographical areas.Therefore,forestry projects information management system need to monitor and manage information from bases.Widely used in the domain of forestry management system,geographic information system,known as GIS,having its weakness in the support of displaying media data(such as images,videos,etc.),cannot upload photos and video data and automatically match the data with bases.Furthermore,GIS is too professional for unskilled users to use,with a lot of forestry science categories.The purpose of this article is to develop a information management and presentation system for forestry projects,with which users can dynamically monitor the basic situation and the progress of forestry projects in bases.This system,combined with Baidu map,intuitively shows the geography information of forestry projects and their bases,with data uploading function and automatic registration function designed to collect images into the system in time.Besides,this system realized the dynamic change of forestry base area and statistics visualization.Collected more than 400 forestry projects,this system,adopting B/S model,with technologies such as Baidu map development interface,GPS information,panorama and data visualization,realizeing the basic information management module,geographic information display module and visualization presentation module,is a good complement to the existing forestry information management system and has a high practical value.
