Research On Factors Affecting Farmer's Willingness To Join Forestry Specialized Cooperatives

In the context of the complete completion of clear property rights and contracted to the goal of reform,the forestry specialized cooperatives,as a medium between markets and farmers,it can solve the contradiction between fragmentation of forest land and forestry scale management,has an important positive role.But on the whole,China s forestry specialized cooperatives development is not mature enough,farmers forestry specialized cooperatives participation rate is also at a low level.Therefore,this paper based on the survey data of 3500 sample farmers in seven provinces in China,analysis of the present situation of farmers to participate in the forestry specialized cooperatives,participation motivations and influencing factors,and target to improve the farmers participation provides the countermeasures and suggestions.It has important practical significance about perfect the forestry specialized cooperatives development policy,improve the efficiency of collective forest management.This paper mainly selects the index factors from three aspects:the basic characteristics of farmers' families,the policy of forest reform and the forest land management situation of farm households,using logistic binary regression model to analyze the factors that affect farmers'participation in forestry specialized cooperatives after the reform of collective forest right system.The results show the proportion of long-term migrant workers to the number of domestic laborers,whether the head of the household is engaged in forest-related business activities,whether the head of the household is cadres,whether the head of household has received forest technical assistance,the demand for forestry science and technology service,the demand for forest insurance,and the area of family forest land has significant influence on the participation of farmers in forestry specialized cooperatives.And then combined with the typical case analysis to get the intrinsic service needs of farmers,the organization of the operating system and governance institutions is also an important factor affecting farmers to participate in forestry specialized cooperatives.Finally,according to the above analysis,put forward the corresponding countenneasures and suggestions,including the need to stabilize and expand the various types of supportive policies for the development of collective forestry,improve the standardization of forestry specialized cooperatives management,to improve the forest farmers on the forestry specialized cooperatives cognitive ability,to carry out forestry specialized cooperatives special support pilot demonstration construction,for the related departments to adopt.
