The feeder of combine as the transition of conveying features,not only need the structure strength can pick up different weight of header,also need to meet the feeding performance at the same time,the material can be evenly feeding smoothly to host in the subsequent processing work,Because of the increasing demand of the users for the feed ing quantity of the harvester,it is necessary to improve the strength of the chain slats and control the quality of the chain slats.need good general performance,can pick up more kinds of headers,also can complete quickly articulated replacing header at the same time.In order to achieve the user demand for universal harvester.Especially for the soybean harvest,due to the low position pod of soybean,in addition to the need to be equipped with high-performance flexible header,the feeder also needs to provide a more ideal angle of harvest,The appropriate harvest angle can improve the feeding performance of the feeder,so that the material can be smoothly through the header auger and the feeder drum tube,greatly reducing the loss of header.which raises the requirements for the existing domestic fixed feeder,the existing feeder structure can’t fully meet the needs of various crops in different conditions of field.In view of the unsatisfactory design of the existing feeder,The durability of chain slats structure needs to be improved.The strength of the feeder housing needs to be further strengthened to adapt the larger weight of the header as the design technology reserves;The front panel of the feeder can’t be adjusted,which leads to the failure to give full play to the harvesting performance of the header.Based on the above points designed a new feeder for different crops with different row spacing and different field conditions,carried out theoretical analysis,structural design,finite element simulation analysis and experimental research on key components,and the main contents are as follows:(1)In view of the need to harvest different crops in different seasons of combine harvester,the feeder should be matched with different headers to harvest different crops for theoretical analysis.(2)3D modeling was carried out on the feeder in software Creo to determine the basic parameters and overall structure of the feeder in the whole machine structure,providing basic theoretical basis for the design and experimental research of the key components of the feeder.(3)Combined with theoretical analysis and practical requirements of field work,the design of feeder chain slats and feeder housing;FEA was used to analyze the 3D model of the designed chain slats and feeder housing structure,and the mechanical analysis of the chain slats was carried out to verify the rationality of its structural design.(4)Complete the machine of functional prototype,conduct lab test,field performance and reliability test,and verify whether the feeder function is reasonable and the durability of the structure.The designed feeder chain slat strength was improved,the feeder housing impro ved can meet the design request for the future,also because of the new adapter structure adjustment function,The feeder can fit different header in different crops under the condition of complete crop harvest,and at the same time need to meet reliability requirements,also need to provide large feeding performance requirements of fine structure design can guarantee harvest efficiency,reduce maintenance time and artificial cost,lay the foundation for farmers rich harvest.
