The problem of contradiction between supply and demand of edible oil has become increasingly prominent in China,and the development of oil peony industry is one of the main ways to solve the contradiction.In recent years,China vigorously promotes the cultivation of oil peony and the mechanized harvesting of oil peony is one of the important links of oil peony industrialization.According to the literature,market research,the growth characteristics of peony and mechanical properti es of stem oil grasp,the paper invented a picking equipment called the self-propelled oil peony friut pic ker.The equipment is used for different terrain and have convenient operation,stable operation and high yield.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)According to the production scale of domestic oil peony,and the characteristics of the existing harvesting equipment at home and abroad,this paper discusses the necessity of the design of self propelled oil peony fruit picker.This paper analyzes the present situation of the harvesting machinery by comparing with other existing agricultural and forestry crops.(2)The research determined the overall design scheme of the self-propelled oil peony fruit picker,for the cutting structure device,lifting structure device and other key structures and parts of the theoretical calculation and selection.Furthermore,the lifting grain ability and traveling performance of this self-propelled picking machine for oil-utilized peony fruit was analyzed by the kinematics simulation software ADAMS.(3)The paper analyzed the stability and calculated the maximum working slope angle of the picking machine,and verified the rationality of the machine’s layout.Using ANSYS16.0 software respectively picking machine frame for the statics analysis and modal analysis,the frame of the strength and stiffness meet the design requirements.Simulation to calculate the frame of the top ten order natural frequency and vibration mode,for further analysis of resonance problems and provide theoretical data structure optimization.(4)The experiment in field showed frame vibration is larger.According to the results can know the engine and cutting parts is the main cause of machine vibration.Then,the paper analyzes the main structure of the picking machine vibration influence on the working performance of the machine.According to the results of coincidence between the engine vibration frequency and the previous four stage natural frequency of the frame,that will resonate,to provide basic data for the further optimization of structure.(5)In order to improve the frequency of the machine frame as the main goal,to lighten the weight of the frame as the secondary objective,use ANSYS16.0 to optimize the structure of the picking machine frame.The 4th stage frequency was increased to 72.51 Hz,higher than that of engine vibration frequency to avoid the resonance phenomenon;Meanwhile,complete the lightweight of the frame.Through optimization,the stability of self-propelled picking machine for oil-utilized peony fruit was theoretically improved.
