The study of diversity of trace element content in oat germplasm resources is conducive to efficient utilization of germplasm resources and variety breeding.In this study,the contents of copper,iron,zinc,magnesium,calcium and selenium in 100 oat germplasm resources were determined by atomic absorption spectrometry and hydride atomic fluorescence spectrometry.Varieties with high content of each element were selected to provide theoretical basis for variety breeding.The selenium-enriched of oats can provide a technical support for selenium-enriched oats.The effects of selenium fertilizer(sodium selenite)on the yeild and the content of trace elements in grain were studied by sparaying different concentrations of selenium fertilizer on Baiyan 7 and Caoyou 1 at heading and filling stages.The main results are as follows:(1)There were significant differences in the contents of trace elements in oat germplasm resources.The content of calcium,iron,zinc,copper and selenium were 1112.309 mg/kg,246.419 mg/kg,82.171 mg/kg,31.484 mg/kg,6.672 mg/kg and 0.491 mg/kg,respectively.(2)Xiumianyanmai,Jia 5,Baiyou 1,S0404,v5 and vl8 were varieties(lines)with high copper content,Taifeng,Xiayoumai,9418,Mengyan 2 and shadow were varieties(lines)with high iron content,Yong 118,ハヤテ,6518,Jia 9,Jia 5,MARION,Jingyan 2004,v25,Bayou 9 and Pinwu were varieties(lines)with high zinc content,ハヤテand Youmai 4400 were varieties(lines)with high magnesium content,v18 and Jian 19 were varieties(lines)with higher calcium content.(3)There was signifcant positive correlation between copper and zinc,a signifcant negative correlation between calcium and iron,and no signifcant correlation between other elements.(4)Spraying selenium fertilizer(sodium selenite)significantly increased selenium in oat grains.At the spraying concentration of 160 mg/kg,the content of selenium fertilizer in oat grains reached the highest level.Compared with water control,the content of selenium in Baiyan seven grains increased by 11.4 times and Caojun one by 8.3 times.The absorptive capacity of Baiyan 7 to selenium fertilizer was higher than Caoyou 1.
