Kmeria septentrionalis belonging to Magnoliaceae Section K.Da ndy genus,is the national key protected wild plants.It is the study o f angiosperm origin,development and evolution indispensable preciou s materials.lt is also a good garden greening tree species.K.septentri onalis reproduction is difficult because dioecious,seed setting rate,lo w birth rate,natural regeneration ability,seeds often used sand reserv oir storage,easy to mildew during storage,low germination rate,hard seed storage.Moisture content,storage temperature is the two major f actors that affect the storage of seeds.Therefore,this experiment usin g silica gel drying method to remove the proper aril dry in the sha de of the initial water content to 10.49%(CK)of K.septentrionalis se eds of fast drying get the seeds with different moisture content(7.54%?4.94%?4.43%?3.45%?3.02%?2.52%,1.90%),storage them at room temperature(25?)and at 4? after determine the state of 1 ife force using TTC method.The relative electrical conductivity?PO D?SOD?CAT?soluble sugar content?soluble protein content?MD A and life force of seeds with different moisture contents were dete cted in 0d,30d,90d,150d,360d,510d.To explore different containing water of K.septentrionalis seeds under low temperature and anbien t temperature storage conditions of life force and physiological and biochemical changes.In order to establish the scientific foundation fo r the study of K.septentrionalis seeds efficient preservation and stor age technology.The results showed that:1?At room temperature(25?)and at 4?,with the change of time,the physiological and biochemical indexes of seeds with different moisture content all produced dynamic changes.It was concluded that the relative electrical conductivity of seeds increased with the increase of storage time.The highest value reached when stored in 360d,and then decreased to a similar to of 0d when 510d.In 360d,POD,SOD,CAT,soluble sugar content,soluble protein content,MDA reached a stable.When the seeds stored at room temperature 510d,their POD and soluble protein content were less than 0d,CAT was larger than 0d,SOD?soluble sugar content,MDA were similar to 0d.When the seeds stored at 4?510d,their POD and soluble protein content were less than 0d,CAT and MDA were larger than 0d,SOD?soluble sugar content was similar to 0d.2?The storage of 510d,different water content of K.septentrionalis seeds with life force at low temperature and room temperature.TTC test showed that the seed viability of all treatment groups was higher than that of CK grroup at room temperature storage.In the 4?,in addition to containing water was 4.43%,1.90%of the seeds of group,other group of seed coloring degree were higher than CK group.At room temperature and 4?,afner 510d storage,the degree of seed coloring and the physiological and biochemical indexes of the water content of 3.45%were higher than that of other groups,the water content of 3.45%seeds was higher than other water content.
