Nowadays,land desertification is an important environmental problem facing mankind.Wind erosion is one of the important causes of land desertification.Wind erosion refers to the process of transportation and erosion of nutrients and fine matter in soil under the action of wind erosion.Wind erosion of soil results in the decline of soil fertility,the decrease of available arable land area and the decrease of crop yield,which seriously restricts and affects the development of China's economy and society.Therefore,the study of soil wind erosion is of great significance to prevent and control the occurrence and development of soil wind erosion.As an important equipment for studying soil wind erosion,sand collector's measurement accuracy plays an important role in collecting high-precision wind erosion data.This paper combines numerical simulation with experiment.Aiming at the core component of sand collector,wind-sand separator is modeled by Solidworks.ICEM CFD software is used for unstructured mesh generation and Simulation in Fluent.After analyzing the simulation results,the most reasonable structure of sand separator is determined.Besides,a wind-sand separator based on double-column disturbance characteristics is designed,and the simulation results are verified by wind tunnel tests.Compared with shunt hedging and multi-stage expanded sand separator,its height is reduced by 71.74%.In addition,the problem of staggered arrangement of split-flow hedging and multi-stage expanded sand separator on sand collector has been solved.At the same time,the speed-reducing performance of the exhaust port and the discharge port of the double-column spoiled sand separator has been improved.Under strong wind conditions,compared with shunt hedging and multi-stage expanded sand separator,the maximum wind speed at the outlet is reduced by 53.81%,and the maximum wind speed at the outlet is reduced by 10.53%.On this basis,a double-column spoiler automatic sand collector is designed and tested in OFDY-1.2 mobile wind erosion tunnel for equal dynamic performance and sand collection efficiency.The results show that the isodynamic performance and average sediment collection efficiency of the double-column spoiler automatic sand collector are 92.93%and 90.32%,respectively.
