The semen quality of the rams directly affects the conception rate of the ewes and the surviving rate of the lambs.The nutrient composition and frequency of basal diets will have a certain impact on the semen quality of the rams.In order to investigate the effects of different diets and semen collection frequency on the semen quality of Inner Mongolian cashmere goats rams,12 males of same years old Inner Mongolian cashmere goats rams with good body condition,similar body weight and no significant difference in semen quality were selected.Randomly,they were divided into 4 groups with 3 in each group.4 different Supplementary feed were chosen,basal diet(Group ?),basal diet+150g black beans/day(Group ?),basal diet+500g carrots/day(Group ?)and basal diet+250mg Vitamin E/day(Group ?).After a 15-day pre-feeding period,the rams were bred once every three days,and the amount of ejaculation,sperm motility and density of the fresh sera were measured immediately after each smelting,and Further use of analysis of variance to determine the best supplement feed for improving the quality of semen's semen.On the basis of,In order to investigate the effects of different semen collection frequency on the semen quality of Inner Mongolian cashmere goats rams,Six rams of good quality semen were selected and collected twice/day,3 times/day,and 4 times/day.The frequency was collected continuously for 3 days,and the next frequency was taken after 7 days of rest.The collected fresh essence was immediately tested for ejaculation volume,sperm density and sperm motility,Using Variance Analysis to Determine the Best Collection Frequency of Breed Rams.Variance analysis of the effect of supplemental feed on semen quality is as follows showed:the Supplementary feed had a significant effect on sperm density(P<0.05),and the sperm density in group ? and ? was significantly higher than the group I;Supplementary feed had a significant effect on ejaculation volume(P<0.05).the ejaculation in group ?,?and IV was significantly higher than group ?,Supplementary feed had a significant effect on sperm motility(P<0.05).The sperm motility in group ? and ? was significantly higher than that in group ?.Therefore,the results show that,Group ?(basal diet+150g black beans/day)has the most significant effect on improving semen quality.Variance analysis the effect of semen frequency on semen quality is as follows shower:the frequency of semen collection had a significant effect on the ejaculation volume(P<0.05),and the ejaculation volume of twice/day was significantly higher than 3 times/day and 4 times/day;The frequency of sperm collection had a significant effect on sperm density(P<0.05),and the sperm density collecting twice/day was significantly higher than that of 3 times/day and 4 times/day;The frequency of semen collection had no significant effect on sperm motility(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in sperm motility between twice/day,3 times/day and 4 times/day,but the sperm motility rate taken twice/day was higher than that taken 3 times/day and 4 times/day.Considering all the factors,it was concluded that twice/day was the best frequency rate for collection.
