Adaptability Identification And Evaluation Of New Maize Varieties In Second Temperate Zone Of Hei-Long-Jiang Province

As a major agricultural province in China,Hei-Long-Jiang has a favorable soil condition.But because of the climate,ecological and production conditions,the yield of maize is always low and unstable.Food and seeds are the most important things in human and agriculture.In order to explore the high and stable yield properties of the six new maize varieties developed in recent years,we carry out regional trials of new maize varieties in Fu-Jin,Hua-Chuan,HuaNan,Jia-Mu-Si and Lin-Kou,and make the widely popularized variety,named Ji-Dan 27,as the control in 2017.The experiment includes the comprehensive evaluation of economical character,yield and quality,which aim to confirm the popularizing value of each variety.The analysis of site differentiation and representativeness,which aim to confirm the necessity of each selecting ginseng pilot.The results are as follows:In terms of agronomic characters,the results showed that: the growth period of Q832,Z110 and Z109 were the most stable,followed by Z101 and Q725,and Ji-Dan 27 and X148 were the most unstable.The lodging rate and folding rate of Q832 were equal to or smaller than that of Ji-Dan 27,but the lodging rate or folding rate of other varieties were higher than that of Ji-Dan 27.The panicle length,ear diameter and row number of each variety had no significant different from that of Ji-Dan 27 except for the ear length of Z109 which showing a high degree of consistency.In terms of yield and quality characters of each variety,the results showed that: compared with Ji-Dan 27,the yield of Q832,Z110 and Z109 increased by 8.9%,2.9% and 2.4%,respectively.According to GGE-biplot analysis,Q832 has higher stability than Ji-Dan 27 and X148,but the yield stability of Z109 and Z110 were poor,so it need further test.In terms of quality,there was no significant difference in grain protein content between Ji-Dan 27 and Q832,but them were significantly higher than Z101 and Q725.The starch content,fat content and bulk weight of each variety were not significantly difference with Ji-Dan 27.In terms of separation and discriminant,the results showed that: Lin-Kou,Hua-Chuan and Hua-Nan had similar order of yield traits,so that some of them could be reduced for purpose of reducing the cost of experiment,at the same time,the evaluation of variety yield was not affected.Jia-Mu-Si had no ability to distinguish the yield of varieties,so it could be considered to remove.Jia-Mu-Si,Lin-Kou and Fu-Jin had similar ranking on quality traits,and some of them could be reduced.In conclusion,all agronomic characters of Q832 were in the middle and upper level,and had strong high and stable yield,so it can be popularized in second temperate zone of HeiLong-Jiang Province.The experiment of Hua-Nan had strong distinguishing power and representativeness,so it was the best experiment field.Because Jia-Mu-Si site had no ability to distinguish yield character,and the ranking of yield and quality characters in Lin-Kou was similar to other sites,so we could consider removing the above two sites,for purpose of reducing the investment.
