In order to improve the comprehensive utilization rate of industrial spent mushroom substrate of Pleurotus eryngii(referred to as SMS),to optimize the solid and liquid culture medium,to reduce the input cost of edible mushroom cultivation in the terms of raw materials and to extend the industrial chain of edible fungi.This experiment was carried out with the SMS of industrial Pleurotus eryngii and Agaricus blazei Murrill(referred to as AbM)strain.The mother culture media and the submerge fermentation medium were optimized by using the SMS extraction.The mycelial growth characteristics,yield,biological efficiency as well as cadmium accumulation and chemical composition of fruiting body were studied.In addition,the differences in the yield and biological efficiency were compared with the cultivation of clinker and fermentation.The main results are as follows:1.The solid medium including SMS extraction and agar can be used to mother media of AbM.Formula NO.5(with 200 g/L SMS and 20 g/L agar)have the densest mycelial density,the strongest growth potential and the faster growth rate,and significantly higher than control treatment(PDA culture medium).2.The Box-Behnken design combined with respond surface methodology was applied to optimize submerge fermentation culture.The optimum conditions for mycelial biomass accumulation were SMS 153.54 g/L,yeast extract 9.74 g/L and corn starch 30.51 g/L.Under the condition,the predictive maximum of mycelial dry weight reached 1.796 g/100 mL and actual measured value is 1.785 g/100 mL.3.Based on SMS and corncob as the substrate of cultivating.Eight treatments with the identical C/N ratio were designed to cultivate AbM traditionally.Results showed that the compost added a certain amount of SMS(with 17 % SMS)can significantly decrease cadmium accumulation in fruiting body,improve quality of AbM,and reduce the input cost of AbM cultivation.4.The clinker cultivation model has certain feasibility.Compared with traditional fermentation cultivation style,each has its advantages and disadvantages,Choosing the clinker or fermentation cultivation model should adjust measures to local condition and base on the truth of locality.
