The uniformity of flocks refers to the uniformity of the growth and development of the flocks and is a key indicator to reflect the growth and development of the flocks.It is calculated from datas such as body weight,metatarsal length,body shape and moulting.Breed enterprises judge the health state of chicken flocks according to the regularity degree of evenness,and then take corresponding adjustment feeding and management measures.Currently,flock uniformity information is calculated primarily based on body weight and metatarsal length.Data collecting of body weight and metatarsal length mainly relies on manual work,while labor intensity is large and easy to cause data error.Therefore,a chicken uniformity data acquisition device is urgently needed to solve the problem of data collection and achieve automatic recording.In this paper,the following aspects are studied for the data collection requirements of cage chicken uniformity:(1)On the basis of the demand analysis,the whole data acquisition device was modeled in three dimensions.The overall structure,work flow and overall layout of the machine were designed.The schemes of the collection,detection and mobile transfer device were optimized.(2)The weight and metatarsal length collection device was designed according to the body characteristics of the chicken;the stability and control system of the collection device were studied;the physical characteristics of the chicken calf were measured in the field to provide data reference for the size design of the metatarsal length acquisition device;the clamping device in the squatting collecting device and the fixing device in the weight collecting device were subjected to force analysis;the tilt angle of the lower leg was tested experimentally,and the fixing device and the lower leg separating device were tested at 90°,100°,110°,120° respectively.In the device,the adjustment angle of the fixing device is relatively comfortable for the chicken.(3)The static analysis on the telescopic device in the collection and detection device,the fixture and the mobile transfer device were performed.The acquisition and detection device and the telescopic device were subjected to study the possibility of resonance and ensure the safety and reliability of the device during operation.The topology optimization design of removing the material from the bottom plate of the acquisition and detection device was carried out to study the reliability of the structure.(4)According to the cage and the farm environment,the mobile transfer device was parameterized.The design of the lead screw and the stepper motor in the telescopic device was checked.Virtual simulation analysis on the device was performed using Adams software,and the device in Smoothness and safety during operation were verify.(5)Trial production and testing of the collection and detection device prototype were carried out to solve the problems encountered in the assembly.Through the test analysis,the weighing error range is ±2g and the relative error rate is 0.07%;the metatarsal length acquisition error range is ±3mm and the relative error rate is 0.18%.The flock uniformity data acquisition device effectively solves the problem of accurate collection of body weight and metatarsal length data.The device realizes automatic data recording and reduces the working intensity of the test personnel to a certain extent.
