Study On Behavior Of Maize Straw Treatment Of Farmers In Jilin Province

Jilin province has rich corn straw resources,and the burning of utilization of straw resources has a broad prospect,In recent years the Jilin provincial government has attached great importance to the comprehensive utilization of straw,and issued multiple files to guide agricultural operators to take an active part in the straw utilization.The purpose is to improve the straw handling social benefits,reduce the straw burning,but in 2017 in jilin province maize straw utilization rate is only 68.5%,far below the national average.It can be seen that farmers in jilin province still take the burning of corn straw as the main method of treatment.The large amount of corn straw burning causes environmental pollution,adds more costs for the government to control the environment,and also causes the waste of corn straw resources.Based on the "rational economic man" hypothesis,the farmers straw processing behavior is rational,the majority of farmers to pursues own benefit maximization and the choice incineration treatment,with the government seek to maximize the social benefits of conflict and the existing straw processing policy,so the research on farmers straw processing behavior has more realistic significance.After combing the macro situation of corn straw treatment in jilin province in detail,the author visited and investigated the situation of corn straw treatment of farmers in jilin province.According to the results of the research on the sample data and the different characteristics of peasant household descriptive analysis of the differences between straw processing behavior,and by using the multiple Logistic regression model,further analysis and inspection of straw processing behavior,the following research viewpoints are obtained:(1)The main body of straw treatment is male,which is closely related to the fact that most of the agricultural production workers in China are male at the present stage.(2)The age of farmers tends to be aging,and there is a lack of young labor force.Moreover,the age difference of farmers has no influence on straw handling behavior.(3)Most of the farmers' have-willingness to deal with straw is non-burning willingness,which results in the contradiction between their willingness to deal with straw and their behavior.(4)In the actual survey,it was found that farmers' cognition of non-burning straw treatment was generally high,and in the empirical analysis,it was also found that the cognitive characteristics of farmers' straw treatment did not affect the result of straw treatment behavior.(5)The main factors affecting farmers straw processing behavior is: the main workers(family mainly engaged in agricultural production and operation of the executive)gender,degree of cultural workers,mainly corn planting area,corn land dispersion degree,corn plot convenience degree,the main source of income,deals with the influence of the policy of straw,straw industry operating characteristics,get easy characteristics of large straw processing machinery.According to the research conclusion,from the perspective of the effective utilization of corn straw treatment methods and the maximization of social benefits,this paper puts forward five suggestions for further optimizing the characteristics of burning behavior farmers,improving the corn straw treatment environment of burning behavior farmers,and guiding the transformation of burning behavior farmers to non-burning behavior:(1)to deepen reform and improve incentive policies for farmers to participate in straw utilization.(2)to improve the industrialization of straw and strengthen the supervision of existing industries.(3)to actively popularize the combined planting and breeding business model and strengthen the straw forage utilization.(4)to establish a straw returning service system to ensure farmers' income.(5)to continue to innovate straw mulching technology and expand the scope of pilot projects for new technologies.
