Wheat is a staple crop in the northern part of China, and the level of its production is closely related to China's food security production and food supply, affecting China's agricultural development and people's lives. In order to maximize the production potential of wheat and regulate the formation of wheat yield and quality, with a purpose of achieving high quality and high efficiency cultivation of wheat, the effects of different water treatments on the physiological characteristics, main agronomic traits, quality and starch properties have been studied by using Pubing 151 which is a high quality wheat variety in drylands. The aim is to provide theoretical basis and technical reference for high yield, high efficiency cultivation and popularization of Pubing 151.1.Compared with non-irrigation in the whole growth period, irrigation during jointing stage increased the chlorophyll content of Pubing 151 flag leaves and inverted-two leaves significantly?p<0.05?.The photosynthetic rate?Pn?,stomatal conductivity?Gs?and transpiration rate?Tr?of Pubing 151 flag leaves were significantly increased?p<0.05?,which indicates that moistureimproves the photosynthetic properties of Pubing 151.The three eigenvalues of Vmax,Vand Vs during filling period can be increased, which is helpful to promote the growth of grain dry weight and the filling process of Pubing 151.2.Compared with non-irrigation in the whole growth period, irrigation during jointing period can delay the Pubing 151 growth period 2 d and 1 d,which can increase the plant height ofPubing 151 by 4.16%and 4.72%significantly?p<0.05?.Irrigation during jointing period is beneficial to the construction of Pubing 151 group structure, effectively increase the number of Pubing 151 spikes and significantly increase the spike rate.Compared with the non-irrigation in the whole growth period, irrigation during jointing period increased the amount of dry matter accumulation in Pubing 151 significantly?p<0.05?,and the increase amplitude was 10.5%and 15.26%,respectively.In the two test places of Yangling and Sanyuan, the number of Pubing 151 spikes, thousand kenel weight and the number of effective spike under jointing period irrigation treatment were increased by 3.3%and 7.05%,8.56%and 9.41%,16.16%and 15.12%,which increased the final yield by 23.06%and30.56%.Comparing with non-irrigation in the whole growth period, the difference reached a significant level?p<0.05?.3.Compared with non-irrigation in the whole growth period, irrigation during jointing period can significantly improve the protein content, test weight, sedimentation value and maximum tensile resistance of Pubing 151?p<0.05?,which has no significant effect on water content, wet glutein content and water absorbtion, and is helpful to improve certain.quality characteristics of Pubing 151.The changes of total starch content, amylose and amylopectin content of Pubing 151 under two treatments showed"S"curve, and reached the maximum value during the maturation period. The change rate of content showed the trend of"slow-fast-slow",and reached the peak value during 15-20 d after anthesis period. The accumulation characteristics and content change characteristics of total starch, amylose and amylopectin were roughly the same, and the peak value of accumulation rate is reached during 20-25 d after anthesis period. With the passage of grain filling period, the ratio of amylose/amylopectin showed"V"curve. The content and accumulation of total starch, amylose and amylopectin under the treatment of jointing irrigation were significantly higher than that under non-irrigation in the whole growth period?p<0.05?.To sum up,irrigation once during the jointing period with the irrigation amount being750 m3·hm-2 can promote photosynthesis of Pubing 151,resulting to obtain higher grain yield and more ideal quality.
