| Solar energy has been widely used by pig producers to solve the problem of high energy consumption in environmental quality control of pigsty in winter in northern China.In order to further evaluate the environment of solar energy pigsty and its effect on the health level and production performance of piglets,the feeding and digestion experiments of weaned piglets were conducted in this experiment,and the effects of environmental conditions of solar energy pigsty and traditional pigsty on the feeding efficiency of piglets were compared.Thirty-two weaned piglets with initial body weight of 14±0.5 kg were divided randomly to solar energy pigsty(test group)and traditional pigsty(control group).Sixteen piglets in each group were fed in four pigsty pens(four replicates)with four piglets in each replicate.All piglets were fed the same diet,free to eat and drink water.The feeding trial period consists of five-day pre-trial period and thirty-day formal trial period.At the end of each pig pen,one piglet was selected randomly for anterior vena cava blood collection,blood biochemical indicators were determined,and another piglet was selected randomly from each pig pen for total fecal collection,digestion and metabolism experiment.The results were as follows:The results of environmental parameters measurement showed that compared with traditional pigsty,the daily variation of average temperature in solar energy pigsty increased by 2.65℃,and the hourly variation of average temperature in solar energy pigsty increased by 2.40℃;the daily variation of average relative humidity decreased by 3.24%,and the hourly variation of average relative humidity decreased by 4.45%;the daily variation of average gas concentrations of NH3 and CO2 decreased by 14.19 PPM and 214.71 PPM respectively,and the hourly variation of average gas concentrations of NH3 and CO2 decreased by 14.19 PPM and 215.71PPM respectively;the daily variation of wind speed increases by 0.23 m/s,and the hourly variation of wind speed increases by 0.22 m/s.The results of health level,production performance,nutrient digestibility,blood biochemical index and nitrogen metabolism of weaned piglets in different pigsty showed that compared with the traditional pigsty group,the average daily feed intake of piglets in solar energy pigsty was not significantly different,and the average daily gain of piglets increased by 9.94%(P<0.05),feed-weight ratio decreased by 12.31%(P<0.05),crude protein apparent digestibility increased by 7.37%(P<0.05),fecal nitrogen decreased by19.03%(P<0.05),and nitrogen apparent deposition rate increased by 7.13%(P<0.05).The diarrhea rate of weaned piglets decreased by 25 percentage points(P<0.05).Serum total protein content increased by 9.11%(P<0.05),and globulin content increased by 19.88%(P<0.05),and serum urea nitrogen decreased by 11.22%(P<0.05).In conclusion,compared with traditional pigsty,solar energy pigsty has obvious advantages in regulating the environmental quality of pigsty,improving the health level and production performance digestion and Utilization of feed nutrients of weaned piglets. |
