The botanical garden is an increasingly important part of landing in the daily life of modern humans.It has the functions of biodiversity conservation,scientific research,science education,and sightseeing.As an important part of the botanical garden,the landscape conservatory is an indoor space that is artificially controlled and displays plants growing in different regions and climatic conditions and their living environment,and can adapt to the best environmental requirements of different plants at each growth stage.As a special type of landscape conservatory,Mediterranean landscape conservatory is quite attractive.In the design of landscape conservatorys,the scope of research has been cut from the perspective of landscape design methods such as slope interpretation and small-scale construction.However,the study of landscape design using the principle of plant division has not been reported.In this study,taking the Mediterranean flora as an example,the regional plant list and spatial distribution data were obtained through an online database,and the cluster analysis results showed that Mediterranean plants can be divided into two major plant areas regions,which are the South Mediterranean Floristic Region and the North Mediterranean Floristic Region;five major plant Sub-Regions,Atlas Mountains & Aegean Sea Floristic Sub-Region,Anatolian Plateau Floristic Sub-Region,Northwest Sahara Desert Floristic Sub-Region,North Mediterranean Floristic Mountains SubRegion,Atlas Mountains Sub-Region;seven Floristic Provinces,namely Atlas Mountains Floristic Province,Aegean Sea Floristic Province,Anatolian Plateau Floristic Province,Iberian Peninsula Floristic Province,Middle Plain Of The River Nau Floristic Province,Alps Floristic Province.In macro-scale planning,the plant layout of "2 big areas-5 sub-areas-7 provinces" can be used for design,that is,the planning layout of the two areas of north and south,5 large exhibition halls,and 7 small exhibition halls.After being corrected according to the plant list,a total of 29363 species of plants in the Mediterranean region were obtained,including 25212 species of angiosperms;269 species of gymnosperms;and 412 species of ferns and pine plants.The Mediterranean flora as a whole presents a higher plant abundance pattern in the north of the Red Sea than in the south of the Red Sea.The seven plant flora provinces have different plant genera.The representative genera of the Atlas Mountains Landscape Area are Argyreia,Euastrum,Hibbertia;the representative genera of the Aegean Sea Landscape Area are Cassia,Chrysopogon,Capsella;the representative genera of the Anatolian Plateau Landscape Area are Hydrangea,Pyrus,and Anemone;the representative genera of the Northwest Sahara Desert Landscape Area are Polystachya,Nanorrhinum,Stipagrostis;the representative genera of Iberian Peninsula Landscape Area are Grammosciadium,Johrenia,Camelina;the representative genera of the Middle Plain of the River Nau Landscape Area are Bergerocactus,Bergia,and Abelmoschus;The representative genera of the Alps Landscape Area are Anacyclus,Phoenix,Rosmarinus.The seven landscape areas were respectively deduplicated with other plants in the Mediterranean landscape area to obtain different plants.Based on the above results,when constructing a landscape greenhouse with Mediterranean landscape features in China,it is recommended that the overall spatial pattern of the plant landscape can be designed using "2 large areas-5 subareas-7 provinces".In the design and configuration,the related landscape optimization design is carried out by means of terrain simulation,axis planning,plant selection,garden sketches,etc.,and fully reflects the plant landscape characteristics of the Mediterranean region.In the introduction of plants,different plants in seven landscape areas with high ornamental value were introduced in the landscape greenhouse zone,and they were cultivated and planted in the greenhouse as the characteristic plants of the area.In addition to plant introduction,the topography and climatic characteristics of each community in the landscape greenhouse are as close as possible to the native habitat of the corresponding landscape area.In the terrain simulation design,try to restore the different terrain characteristics of the seven landscape areas and simulate the native terrain as much as possible;when simulating the climate characteristics,through the temperature and humidity control,simulate the typical characteristics of different climates in the seven landscape areas of the Mediterranean;In the simulation of characteristics,the cultural characteristics of the main countries included in the landscape area are summarized and applied to the corresponding landscape greenhouse design;when designing the landscape greenhouse corresponding to the seven landscape areas,the analysis of the characteristic landscape in the landscape area is concluded In order to obtain the landscape characteristics of the landscape area,the characteristic garden sketches,road paving and other elements are applied to the design of the landscape greenhouse.This research not only provides new ideas and important scientific basis for plant selection in different areas of greenhouse design;it also provides new theoretical support and planning basis for the design of landscape greenhouses,and provides analysis of areas during the construction of landscape greenhouse plants.The new perspective of the composition of the middle flora and the use of landscape techniques has a high value in popularization and application.
